Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Ocean View

This is our second time staying here and it was even better than the first!!! Wonderful upgrades to the kitchen and loved the addition of the Roku TV’s allowing me to play my Spotify “Beach Vibe” playlist while we hung out after a day at the beach! Our son, who was two last time we stayed here, got to sleep in the “big boy bed” for the first time and found it just perfect! We also had my mother in law along this time. She’s spent many years staying at places at Bethany and has very discerning tastes. She said this place was her favorite! Can’t wait to come back again!

My stay at Jennifer’s place was nothing short of amazing! The place itself is fantastic -super clean in every room, very tastefully decorated without being too much and very spacious on the inside. The beds are super comfy-best sleep I’ve had in a long time. And if you’re staying in the middle bedroom, the shades are amazing and barely let any sun in so it’s very easy to sleep in. The kitchen is fully stocked for all basic needs so nothing extra to pack there. One of my favorite parts of the house was the sun room off the kitchen/living room-if you take your cup of coffee out there and open the blinds up it is a fantastic way to start the day! There are also plenty of games and a comfy couch for rainy day activities. The bikes and beach chairs in the garage are a very nice touch, all are in excellent condition and it’s a very nice area to bike around. The pool is great for lounging and everyone there was pleasant! There is a brewery down the street that we walked to that was super fun!

The Red Barn Suite was a great little retreat away from the craziness of the Rehoboth and Dewey beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet and amenities like the bamboo shower and the fire pit. Josh even provided us with a fire starter kit! We loved walking around the beautiful property and seeing the chickens and his friendly dog, Misha! We 100% recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stay, the weather was gloomy but the Airbnb had games and other stuff to keep us occupied. The place was very clean and just how it looks in the pictures.

This was a Very beautiful home. I would love to come back again. Mr Ernest was one of the best host I came across. He was very attentive and made everything so easy. The house is so spacious enough for my guests. They loved it. And Thank you again Mr Ernest for the recommendation for the restaurant Fagers Island in Ocean City, MD. The food was phenomenal and then we danced to the live band/then a DJ. It was my birthday and we had a blast. And the house was not too far from Ocean City. That’s were everything is. What stood out for me was the nice size kitchen and the bed rooms were decent size. I didn’t get a chance to use the pools or clubhouse but they looked very nice. I want to say . Thank you again for the use of your AirBnB. I truly had a great time.

We had a wonderful time at this vacation home in Ocean View, DE! The house was clean, cozy, and just a short drive to beautiful Bethany Beach. Terry was a fantastic host—responsive, thoughtful, and made sure we had everything we needed. Can’t wait to come back!

This house is ideal for getting away from home and relaxing. Everything (descriptions, pictures, etc.) stated in the AirBnb post was right on point. It is just far enough away , from the hustle and bustle of the beach scene, but within minutes of all the excitement. This was our second year renting and we will do so, in the future. It felt like home away from home.

We loved our stay at Morton's place. There was ample room for everyone to spread out and have some privacy, and all still get together in the main living area. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to prepare meals. The location is perfect -- the pool is right across the road (another is just 3 min down the way) & the beach is very close by as well (beach shuttle is a wonderful option). Although the house was perfect for our needs, the cleaning company could have taken some extra care in preparing the home for guests. I am hopeful this is a one-time fluke. Mort was a fantastic host. Very responsive even before we booked, and helped us with minor issues during our stay. We would definitely come back and stay again!

Our stay was great! We absolutely love the place. It was nicely decorated and we had everything you could possibly need. Location was near everything we wanted to see. We would definitely book again.

Condo was exactly as described! Amazing oceanfront view! I was also impressed with how much room there was. It was cruiser week so it was a tad bit noisy at night, but other than that and the fact we couldn’t stay longer, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay!

Had an amazing time at this beautiful beachfront Airbnb. The location couldn’t have been better, literally steps from the sand with stunning ocean views right from the balcony. The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in a breeze. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind by the water.

This place is lovely! It is a little bit of a walk to the beach, but it's a perfect distance to most of the boardwalk area. The place is well-maintained and thoughtfully furnished. I would stay here again.

Donna & Neal’s “sweet suite” was absolutely PERFECT! Beautifully decorated to every detail to make you feel relaxed, cozy & at home! Donna was great at communicating check-in details & any other info or suggestions we may need. We were able to meet Donna & Neal, they are the most kind & sweet people! The suite was VERY clean & free of any chemical cleaner smell like another review mentioned & I really appreciated that. We loved all the treats, fresh flowers & special touches just for us & to feel so welcomed in their lovely town of Frankford. The bed was super comfy, kitchen area had everything you would need, bathroom & shower was AMAZING! This was a last minute getaway for us so we feel so fortunate to have found such a beautiful place to stay! The only Airbnb in the area that met all our needs & wants! We will 100% return again & recommending the “sweetest suite” to all our family & friends! Truly believe this trip was meant to be & our paths were meant to cross w/Donna & Neal!

Love staying at Marie's condo in Sea Colony. This was the first time that we were in Bethany Beach in early May in many years. It was fun seeing the community get ready for the upcoming season. Marie is proactive and responsive. Her place is perfect for 2 people. :)

Brian and his family were amazing. As soon as we booked they were very accommodating. This continued into the stay and it was so lovely to stay somewhere with the kids in mind.

We had a wonderful stay at Mike's condo in Lewes! The location was absolutely perfect — just a short, pleasant walk to both the charming town center and the beach. It made exploring the area so easy and enjoyable. The condo itself was comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The bikes were a huge plus! We loved biking to Cape Henlopen State Park. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy the best of Lewes!

Really enjoyed our stay at Stephanie's. Awesome condo that was clean, comfortable and roomy. Wonderful views from Living Room, Balcony and Master Bedroom. Close enough to the water to hear the waves breaking. Plenty of restaurants and shops close by. Definitely hope to be back!

Bryan is super responsive and easy to communicate with. He notified us of detailed check in and check out instructions. He then checked in on us towards the end of the trip to make sure all of our expectations were met; to which they were. This condo is exactly as described in the listing and pictures. It’s clean and cozy. The view from the bedroom is unmatched. The location is perfect in a sense that it’s not too close to the boardwalk, making the area a little more quiet, but also within 10 mins to the best restaurants and bars. The staff at the condo and even other guests were friendly and courteous. If you’re afraid of heights, this might not be the best place to stay for you, but as I previously mentioned, the view from the master bedroom can’t be beat. That view alone, would have us stay again. I would definitely recommend this stay to others.

There aren't enough words proper enough to describe how spot on this amazing place is. It looks EXACTLY as the photos show. As soon as I walked in the door, I was met with a beautiful & relaxing relief. I literally let out an "Oh my gosh". I just knew, it was going to be enjoyable. It was quiet & so serene. The bed truly is so comfortable. I was also so impressed with the amount of kitchen supplies as well as the products that were offered in the bathroom & kitchen. They were not your typical "hotel brand" products. Plenty of nearby places within walking distance from food to shopping. I hope I was a good a guest for them because I want to return again. I am in love with it. Such an amazing getaway. Thank you ×100!

We had a wonderful weekend at Amanda’s. The unit is well appointed, cozy, comfortable and nicely decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable (unfortunately, loud trash trucks woke us up in the morning). The location is great and you can walk to many shops and restaurants. The best part about the condo is the covered deck. It’s large and furnished with a beautiful view. I could have sat out there all day! You can get to the beach easily right from the deck. Amanda was very responsive, friendly and gave me local recommendations I asked for. All in all, a wonderful beach getaway.
