It has an enormous garden with lots of trees and flowers and you will only hear the sound of birds. There is just nature around.

We are nestled on the hillside in an area of outstanding natural beauty with uninterrupted views down to the Obidos Lagoon at the end of the garden. The lagoon is home to a huge variety of water and wading birds, flamingos, storks, purple heron and curlew, plus fish eels and shellfish. With one hectare of garden we offer a truly tranquil environment where normally the only sounds are from our feathered friends.

We enjoy walking its old cobblestone streets up to the castle and talking to the locals or simply sitting and watching the late summer evening sunlight stream through Bougainvillea-laden houses while sipping a tasty ginjinha. I guess we are romantics at heart. :-)
