Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Oakwood

Ross and Evelyn are delightful hosts and The Cane Patch is an exceptional property. My husband and I needed a home base for a couple days of hiking in the Dahlonega area. We liked the idea of staying so close to the square, knowing that we could easily walk to food, entertainment, and ice cream! We highly recommend The Cane Patch as an immaculate, nicely decorated (great artwork), and well-stocked accommodation. Our absolute favorite spot was the back patio and garden. Very private, very lovely, and filled with bird songs. We ate dinner, breakfast, and had late afternoon coffee on the patio. Ross and Evelyn are friendly, helpful, and very gracious. On our last evening there was a weather related event while we were away that resulted in a downed power line in front of their property. They made sure we were taken care of by promptly contacting us with detour directions, had flashlights waiting, and issued a partial refund which we greatly appreciate.

Loved staying here! It was clean, quiet, and peaceful but still close enough to town and hiking trails to be convenient. Would visit again for sure!

i was in the process of moving out of my house and needed something that allowed pets. The whole apartment was LVP and I had my own entrance and driveway .It was perfect for what I needed.

The house was better than what my partner and I saw in the photo. It's super nice and impressive. I loved the jacuzzi area. You could feel nature and La Paz in that place

The place was honestly a bit smaller than I had expected, but it was my first time ever renting Airbnb so I didn’t even read descriptions before renting, so that’s on me. Everything felt pretty comfy and my favorite part was definitely the sound of the river at night, gives an extremely peaceful vibe to the stay. It’s also a great location to find waterfalls for those wanting to hike. Excellent location, would definitely rent again.

This was an amazing stay. The house was very cold at one point, but she didn’t hesitate to turn it to a better temperature for me overall everything went perfect perfectly and if there’s an available date, I’ll be looking forward to staying again!

Absolutely loved this place. Spacious, clean, quiet, and the hosts are very accommodating. They have the home stocked with everything you need. The pool area is perfect with complete privacy, equipped with a propane grill, extra towels and pool floats if needed. I will always book this place if we are headed to spend a few days out on lake Lanier. Love love love it.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at David’s Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The place was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing—if not better!

Had an absolutely amazing time staying here. It was beyond our expectations. The house itself is incredibly modern. You feel like you’re living inside a magazine photo. Every day we were sitting inside, we could see the farm animals grazing. In addition, the location is perfect because you are just a few minutes away from the main Ellijay city center with tons of restaurants and cute shops to explore. However, whenever you come back to the Air bnb, you feel like you’re in a rural oasis. All of this doesn’t even mention how amazing it was to be able to interact with Ted himself and his farm animals. He allowed us the opportunity to feed them, tour the farm, try some of their produce, and generally get an idea of what it’s like to take care of a farm like their’s. They also have multiple other properties on site in case you have a large group of people. Ted himself was everything you could want from an Air bnb host: friendly, positive, helpful, and responsive. Can’t wait to be back soon!

Rustic house with great upgrades. If you stay here don’t expect a newly constructed house but one with a lot of charm and a history you can feel. This house built in 1900 is in a great location with modern appliances. The house was fine for us and our young family to stay for a wedding weekend. John was very responsive and flexible. The beds were comfortable, the internet strong and the air conditioning adequate to provide comfortable temperatures. With nice sitting areas inside and out, we had places to sit and visit. Thank you John for providing us a place to make memories with our family. We particularly enjoyed the short walk each morning to breakfast at Caroline’s.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Kate's place. We really appreciated the ample space inside the home and felt like we had enough sleeping arrangement options to accommodate the several adults & children in our group. We also really loved the ability to walk to downtown Gainesville and did so several times during our stay. There are several coffee shops within walking distance as well as an antique mall and a veteran's park which we enjoyed. I noticed that others made note of the steep driveway and wanted to mention that we did not find the driveway particularly steep. We had no issues getting in or out with our vehicles. Oh, and it was very useful to have two bathrooms for our large party - the water was nice and hot and the water pressure was great. Thanks again for having us.

My parents enjoyed their stay very beautiful backyard views. Will definitely book again if we’re ever in town visiting family.

This was probably the nicest Airbnb that we’ve ever stayed in.

We celebrated our 20th anniversary of our book club with a stay here. There were enough beds for everyone and enough room for us to have group gatherings, but also find alone quiet time if necessary since the house is so spacious. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. We also took a tour on the boat with Captain Steve. If you need a large private venue, we would highly suggest this location. Missy and Steve are very gracious hosts!

Had a great stay at Adriana’s place! Easy to get to everything, and she was so helpful. Would happily come back!

Overall, I had a great experience at Sara's condo! Sara was very detailed about all aspects of the stay, and the view from the terrace was great. The condo was clean and everything was accessible. Everything you need is within walking distance or a short Uber ride (if not wanting to drive). While this is not a deficiency with Sara/ her property, I did experience some challenges with Metropolis parking while there. So, I'd suggest parking in AAA parking lot or exploring other parking options.

We had a wonderful stay for our 2 day concert at the Tabernacle. 11 minute walking time.

What was off-putting was handled swiftly and what was right was great. Anjel was a great host. I will return.

Prince was a great host. His penthouse was pristine, the view is AAAMAZING! Walking distance to several restaurants and attractions. Highly recommend, 10/10. Thanks for your attentiveness Prince!😊

Beth’s place is centrally located to an endless amount of things to do. Her apartment is well appointed and very functional. We’ll definitely rent from Beth in the future!

it was great! we had everything we needed. it was close to Marta which was wayyyy cheaper than Uber to the Airport. Uber to the condo from the airport was almost $60. Marta was $7 for 2 people! we went to the GWCC for Momocon and it was about a 30 minute walk. But there were Lime and Bird bikes and scooters everywhere! We loved having a kitchen and a separate bedroom. My son enjoyed having the whole living area to himself and the husband and I took the bedroom. Bed was super comfortable! John was very good at communicating throughout our stay. lobby attendants were friendly and helpful. There is a liquor store, ice cream shop and mailing/package store attached to the building. Mail store was super helpful shipping souvenirs instead of traveling with them. oh and having a balcony that overlooked the city was a nice bonus. John was even gracious enough to extend our checkout so we didn't have to sit in the airport for hours! overall, very pleased and would stay again.

Perfect accommodations for a relaxing stay after busy days! The bed was VERY comfortable, noise was minimal (other than usual city traffic noise), and building staff were super helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend and would love to stay again should we find ourselves needing a space in the city.
