Redwood Sanctuary is located in the idyllic Oakland Hills with beautiful vistas, hikes, and parks within a short drive. The home is situated on half an acre of land in the middle of redwood, eucalyptus, and oak trees secluded away from other homes. Montclair village is an 8 minute drive, providing lots of great food and shops. Minutes from Highway 13 and 580. It is a 1 bedroom studio with a queen bed and a pull out sofa bed. The cottage is at the back of our large garden with views of our beautiful urban farm with a pond, chickens and goats! Little Yellow Door is a 1 bedroom apartment with a full kitchen on the lower level of our home in the Oakland hills. It's very cozy, has a completely private entrance, and is pet friendly! Lots of plants, antiques and art. You can enjoy morning coffee from the deck while looking out at the Bay! This is an older house- you will hear us and our pets walking around upstairs. Important: There are two flights of stairs to get to the apt. Easy street parking!

The in law is entire lower level of home- approx. 900 sq. ft. It's private, sunny with own entrance and yard, facing undeveloped woods. Mornings & nights are great for patio or visiting at fire pit. (after June firepit not allowed due to CA fire danger) A rustic, gravel path takes you to your door. Whoever books must be guest & we'll need photo of you! (not sunset!) Please be ok with the fact that 2 dogs live upstairs.
