Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Nottingham

Staying at the little lake house was a perfect getaway. Perfect balance of nature, things to do and restaurants. We hope to go back in the future!

Overall we very much enjoyed modern rural space. Kiss the Cow farm about 5min drive was amazing& we got most all main food there w/ additional items from Barnard General Store. Spices/ cookware were very good - we brought nonstick pans& 1 knife to supplement. Plenty bowls, measuring cups/spoons, maybe a set of tom collins glasses would be nice albeit stemless wine and rocks glasses available. Needs garlic/onion powder. Tub was amazing/ upstairs bathroom a true getaway/ relaxing space. It was as pictured albeit note spiral staircase &open grated flooring upstairs. Plenty of windows albeit not much cross breeze so think ahead if bring own fan and/or start A/C before get too warm. I would say you must have an SUV year round for this rental - surrounding roads/ driveway are a good distance on rough dirt/gravel - traversable yet a sportier car with low profile tires/ ground clearance would not work. We enjoyed simply walking driveway& East Barnard Rd. Barnard Inn restaurant worth it.

Beautiful home with water views, amazing location to walk or drive into Portsmouth or the outlets in Kittery.

Gary and Nick were wonderful hosts, extremely accommodating and very communicative and flexible. The surroundings alone were so picturesque , each morning and dawn was like a painting - I’ll be back for sure !

My family and I had a great stay at this beautiful home. Everything you would need was provided. Just pack your clothes and toothbrush and you are all set. The house was even better than described, if that’s possible. The layout was perfect for gathering and just catching up. The beds were so comfortable. And the outside was even nicer. Lots of places to sit and relax. The lake was just a step away. Tanis was also very easy to communicate with. You can tell he really cared about our stay. We definitely enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back!

We came here for a private getaway on our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The price was a bit much, but for such a special time I felt it was worth it at the time I booked, and worth it it certainly was. beautiful, quiet, serene, it was perfect for a getaway. I would absolutely recommend, and I already have, this stay. 10/10

Such a cute place - the entire home was so much better than the photos even!! The bed and bedding was also super comfortable and all of the included seating and such was super cute! There was also a chalkboard wall that was really cool! Will certainly consider coming again!

We had a fantastic stay at this place! The house was spotless, with a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom that made everything super convenient. Thiago was incredibly helpful, attentive, and kind throughout our stay, which made the experience even better. We especially loved the jacuzzi area and the large, comfy couch in the living room. The entire place offered great privacy. Would definitely recommend it!

Perfect spot for a girls weekend in Portsmouth with an easy walk into town. The place was easy to find, very clean, and spacious.

It was great staying at Elizabeth's place! Very clean Airbnb nestled in Hampton. Short 15 minute drive to get to Phillips Exeter for parents or alumni visiting. Very comfortable bed and a clean bathroom with all the amenities you could need including soap, body wash, conditioner, and towels. Would definitely stay here again when I am in the area! Elizabeth was very responsive. She helped me out during a freak blackout that occurred even though she was all the way in California at the time. I really appreciate her help!

We spent a wonderful weekend at Andy & Lynne’s place! The apartment felt welcoming, warm and comfortable, truly a home away from home. The kitchen was cute and well appointed. The bath was spacious and the rainfall shower was absolutely amazing. The location was yet peaceful and quiet, yet assessable to many points in souther Maine. It is the ideal getaway spot for costal New England. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay in costal Maine. Thank you!

Such a relaxing stay! My husband and I stayed here for a few nights, and we found the location perfect for what we were looking for. Close to many yummy restaurants in Alton Bay and Wolfeboro (5-15 minutes). About 30 minutes from Weirs Beach . The road that Tony and Sonja live on is very quiet. We took a beautiful walk around the neighborhood with a view of Lake Winni. The Airbnb itself is beautiful. Very clean and well equipped. It's right above the garage and up a small flight of stairs. We can't wait to come back one day!

We had a wonderful stay for the UNH graduation weekend. Highly recommend, peaceful setting, comfortably furnished, everything we needed. The full kitchen was very helpful and well stocked for needs, and the grounds were relaxing. Walkable to spots in Dover, easy drive to Durham, close to Portsmouth. Very responsive hosts, would love to return!

I stayed with Evan and Rachel previously in the apartment located upstairs from the Hideaway Studio. Once again, I was not disappointed! Spotlessly clean, great location, clear instructions, and perfect for a single guy looking to stay a few nights in Derry. No complaints except I was unable to find any dish soap, so I had to wash everything with hand soap. Also, when using the hot tub, I was bothered by a musty smell coming from the water, especially when all the jets were turned on. Perhaps I’m just overly sensitive to mold. Also, some of the pictures should be updated. While I didn’t need it for my stay, the bunk bed was not set up, so it was just the full bed with the twin trundle underneath. Wonderful stay overall, and I would not hesitate to book this location again!

Deer Valley cabin was every bit as charming as pictured—serene, picturesque, and peaceful. It was the perfect retreat and a great escape from the everyday hustle, while still offering all the modern comforts (including Wi-Fi). The location strikes a great balance—just a short drive to a convenience store and restaurants, yet far enough removed to truly feel like a vacation. Alecia was accommodating, welcoming, and responsive. We hope to come back!

Hilary’s place is the perfect place to relax or to stay with the intention of going on a hike to Mount Cardigan. It’s well equipped with everything you need for cooking, lounging and showering. And for those who don’t have dogs, don’t worry about cleanliness. I could roll around on those carpets. The bed is super soft. You sink right in. It was raining a lot the weekend I was there and I also had a zoom meeting for work so we didn’t go outside. WiFi was super fast. And honestly, it’s so cozy and clean in there, I was happy to stay in the whole weekend.

The cabins location was secluded and private but not to far from activities everything you need is about a 25 minute drive away. The cabin had an amazing view and was stocked with everything we needed. The sauna was an amazing addition. We highly recommend. The house was spotless and the host was ver responsive. Overall we highly recommend this cabin and will most likely be returning ourselves.

Does the cabin look perfect in the photo? It's better. Does the yard look like the perfect place to forget the rest of the world exists? It is. Are the White Mountains a place that make you feel like the psychological mountains in your life are just a little smaller? They are. We don't have enough good things to say about the Cabin or communicating with Cassouki. It's rare to step into a space that feels like it was designed with intention on every level - from the scents in the air to the textures of the cabin to the quiet confidence in every object's placement. The Conscious Cabin doesn't just reflect a designers eye, it reflects a storyteller's heart. I've stayed in more than a few retreats, but this is the first one that felt like it had something to say--and somehow said it quietly enough to let us hear ourselves again. Stay here.

Stayed here for the second time with our family of five, including two toddlers and a baby. The house/property is the perfect setup for us! Everything is safe for kids and on one floor. There are things like pack-and-plays, kid dinnerware, kid toys/books, and sand toys provided. The sandy beach is close enough that our monitor reached from the baby’s room during nap time. Our oldest calls it “the little house” and has been talking about it since the last time we stayed here a year ago. It is the perfect little getaway! 🙂

We fell in love with this cabin! It is even better than the photos, immaculately clean, totally private, and stocked with all of the necessities. This was the perfect weekend getaway to celebrate our anniversary and we hope to stay here again ASAP. Michele is a wonderful host!

honestly, the photos don't do it justice. it is a beautiful area and it's honestly bigger than it looks. it's in the perfect spot and is surrounded by activities let alone all the amenities the host has to offer. even when weather wasn't ideal, just staying in was still a nice retreat. they have a lot of board games and so many movies and the chromecast so we were able to use our favorite streaming services. this home has such a cozy and relaxing atmosphere / environment and honestly we were sad to go. we'd definitely be back if we choose to go to new hampshire again, forty minute drive to franconia, hour drive to mount washington, i mean it was perfect. there is nothing about where we stayed / what we did that i'd change. if you're going to new hampshire, seriously, consider staying here. it's gorgeous

This was our third stay at Denise's place on Lake Horace and it was wonderful once again! Check in is super easy, the place looks great with all the new improvements(we loved the coffee area), and Denise always responds quickly to any questions. The lake is beautiful, we had a nice swim, saw all three Loons (Larry, Lulu and Lester) on our paddle board adventure, and enjoyed cozy nights by the lake shore fire pit. Denise's place is a relaxing and refreshing getaway. We love this place and look forward to another Lake Horace visit soon!
