Stay and book within the city of Tromsø for 2-3 days and the rest of your stay, you MUST book one of Freddy’s campers. Beyond the city, you will see the real beauty of Tromsø. We stayed at Freddy’s place for 5 nights! Within six days, 1. We saw the Aurora Borealis dancing right in front of Freddy’s property. 2. We watched the most beautiful green, pink, purple Aurora Borealis during our last night right at Freddy’s backyard. 💚💜💖 3. We hiked twice in different areas 30-mins away by driving from Freddy’s place, 4. We had a walk in the nearby area 5. We ate quail eggs (gifted to us by Freddy). 6. There was a day when we just stayed in the camper, enjoyed the view and read a book. We also walked around the area that day. 7. From afar, we saw Moose and Reindeers. 8. Max the cat, the ducks and Geese are a plus! So adorable! We really wanted to get around the places outside the city, good thing Freddy had an extra car for us to rent. We can assure you, renting a car and driving around is worth the view, worth the everything! 😉 The camper was clean, complete and organize as we arrived. For two people, it is very spacious. The view from the window is stunning. The camper is well-heated. 30mins away, there is a local grocery store. We ate there once and we liked it, and we did our groceries from there too. Karin welcomed us and explained to us everything. Freddy was very helpful with many tips to give us. You can ask him anything about Tromsø. He lent us snow shoes and walking sticks for hiking. We wouldn’t have hiked without it. They are both hospitable and very interesting people to talk with. So if you’re planning a trip outside of Tromsø city, Freddy’s camper is the place to be!

Bjarte and his wife are very helpful hosts. I wasn’t able to stay at the caravan for a problem they informed me about, but the boat house they offered me was super beautiful and fully equipped. The only let down was not having Wi-Fi at all, and the place if you don’t have a car is a bit isolated, but the island is absolutely stunning, immersed in nature. Overall recommended

AMAZING!! Definitely recommend. Christian and Susann were very responsive and gave me really good local recommendations. Location was perfect! It is definitely worth staying here. I stayed two nights and would come back again.

Kenneth was very nice and welcomed us warmly. He showed us around the charming farm and was very helpful during the stay. The caravan was bigger and cozier than we had imagined - really a positive surprise! There was a lovely path down to the water, perfect for a short walk, and it was a short distance to the store by car. On the farm, we made and enjoyed dinner in the large greenhouse – a very special experience! Picking fresh lettuce straight from the garden and feeling how much better it tasted, made it all extra memorable. Highly recommended!

It was a fantastic location for a fantastic price. The place was really clean and everything went really smooth. The town is pretty small so I could walk all around it and come back to the place in a pretty short time.

Beautiful place, nice and cosy apartment and friendly hosts!! We were very satisfied overall, the apartment was exactly what we wanted, the location is good if you own a car (20min from the city center), the nature nearby is really really beautiful and peaceful and the hosts were very helpful and friendly! The only minor downside was that sometimes we could hear the owners that live right above the apartment.

Our van was perfect and Robert was the best host you could ask for. Highly recommend

Me and my boyfriend were welcomed by Sissel who explained everything we needed to know. The airbnb was on a farm property, but still very private. We used the sauna, the jacuzzi, cold plunge the spot has a beautiful view. The bathroom and shower was in the next door building but the there was an outdoor cold shower which we used. We found this airbnb because of its location close to the airport and to be honest it’s a perfect stay for a couple/ family or group of friends.

We had a wonderful experience as guests. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, and communication was smooth and easy from start to finish. Vegar, in particular, was very approachable and made us feel right at home. Highly recommended!”

A true gem and a fantastic host! The house right at the lakeshore is unique and offers everything you could think of. We felt right at home and had great fun with the boats, swimming and fishing, cooking and enjoying the view. Perfect for a relaxed family summer holiday. Caroline was extremely friendly and stayed cool even when I had a little mishap with the key. Thank you for everything!

Rented the cottage from 5/17-5/24 2025. 6 adults and 2 children. The cottage is exactly as in photos. Cozy, charming and lovely clean. Quick communication with the host, who even warned about slippery roads in the middle of the week. Absolutely stunning views from the cottage located at the top with easy access to hiking behind the cottage. The first few days we could sit outside and eat dinner in the sun - on Wednesday it snowed about 10 cm. So there was also a snowball fight and a snowman made during the summer vacation. The best recommendation of the host and this amazing cottage from us.

We had a great time in the bus, which is tastefully decorated with incredibly nice details. The location is impeccable and it is so secluded that you really have privacy here. The bicycles included are also a bonus. Highly recommended and we are looking forward to the next time!
