Wow! This place was above expectations, absolutely beautiful cottage and facilities. The cottage itself is so spacious and finished to a very high standard, spotlessly clean. The grounds and facilities on offer are superb. The location is stunning and perfect base for exploring the surrounding areas, so many places to visit. We’re already planning our next stay, thank you for a perfect stay!

great place for a family getaway, there were 11 of us so the games room and hot tub were prefect. close enough to Barnard castle to go out for dinner, beautiful surroundings, what's not to like

Lovely stay over the New Year period. Great location with just a short walk into Pocklingto where there are lots of places to eat and drink. Would recommend.

Absolutely brilliant place! Found this place by accident and already looking to come back with some friends. The hot tub/pool is amazing! We had the perfect weather for it. The house has everything you could need, home from home! Spotlessly clean too! Lee was brilliant from the moment I booked it right through to us leaving his place. Can't wait to come back, thank you!

Russell and Clare are great hosts who have created comfortable, well-appointed accommodation which is warm and cosy in winter and I imagine light and airy in summer. The beds were lush. The shower is great - powerful and consistent temperature. Eppleby is peaceful with walks from the cottage, a local shop & tea room - very friendly - and pub. It's a great location for exploring Richmondshire and Co. Durham. We had a relaxing short break at The Old Milk House and hope to return.

Celebrated my mums 80th birthday making memories 8 guests plus a dog. everything about the stables was perfect all on one floor spacious clean and fully equipped. The outdoor area was especially good we had lovely weather so enjoyed the hot tub and patio area. pizza shack was brilliant we were definitely useless at making pizzas!but Paul stepped in to help Big thankyou Sue and Paul made us very welcome lovely friendly couple . my dad said I quote "we backed a winner here " would highly recommend

We had a great stay in Thirsk, Jodie was fantastic and the cottage was lovely, it had everything we needed and was in a quiet location. It was close to town, which had great restaurants and was also very close to Tesco and Lidl to grab the essentials. Would definitely recommend.

Cannot fault the place at all. Exactly as described. Penny was very quick to respond and very clear as to where everything would be and how to access the property on arrival. A beautifully kept property in a beautiful area. Penny left a couple of bottles of milk in the fridge and a delicious lemon drizzle for our arrival. She had thought of everything with regard the kitchen and, unlike some places, everything worked and the knives were sharp. Comfy bed and pillows, huge towels and loads of space even with six adults. Will definitely return if Penny will have us.

We had a really lovely few days, the location is beautiful lots of lovely walks, and a great pub in walking distance. We stayed in the Mistal which was gorgeous, it has everything and was immaculate. We will be going back again I hope. Geoff is lovely and very helpful, a gentleman… thank you!

This place is absolutely perfect location for the heart of Bedale. literally a minutes walk and you're on the high street. Very quiet and peaceful even though there is a back path from the high street passed the house. House had all the bits and pieces we needed and Nigel was very helpful if we needed anything that we forgotten.

Beautifully presented cottage, felt right at home from the moment we arrived. John and Tricia were extremely helpful and responsive throughout. We especially enjoyed the company of the very friendly cats, miniature horses and chicken!

Really great location. A home from home with everything you need

This is an ideal house for a family gathering; spacious and extremely comfortable; very high spec throughout. The two annexe rooms with their wooden floors and each with their own en-suite, are perfect if you bring a dog. The close proximity to the excellent Carpenters Arms was a real bonus; our family celebration there on Saturday evening was beyond our expectations. We loved the peace and quiet of the surrounding countryside and yet interesting villages and market towns were within easy reach by car. Special mention for Leanne, who was particularly helpful, when we discovered we had left a very important item behind. A most enjoyable three night stay. Thank you.

Excellent property in a nice quiet location. The inside was beautiful and even better than the pictures. The outside area with bbq and fire pit was lovely to sit and relax. Would 100% stay here again in the future.

We recently stayed at this Airbnb for 8 months. It's a beautiful 2-bedroom property with a lovely, enclosed garden, situated in a very quiet friendly area. It's within walking distance to the local shops, and the local bus service is at the end of the road. Well-equipped, and very comfortable beds! Nothing is too much trouble for the host Kelly, who's always available should you require anything. Highly recommended 😊

Great accommodation which had everything our guys needed for their stay, very comfortable and in a great location. The host was very responsive and helpful.

We (7 adults and a dog) stayed here for 7 nights over Christmas and it was perfect. The house looks just like the photos, was perfectly presented and spacious enough for us all. The kitchen was well-equipped for those days we wanted to stay home, but the house is close enough to plenty of restaurants and pubs for eating out. Games room was a nice touch. We’d definitely recommend it and would certainly stay again.

jo was so helpful and kind. responded to message quick and was very flexible. she when above and beyond with everything. even to help charge the date as I booked the wrong date. jo was a perfect host and could not ask for any more. jo was happy to answer any questions and even offered recommendations for local restaurant. the hole experience was amazing. I would highly recommend staying with jo. 10/10

This is such a lovely place in the countryside. Honestly wish we could have stayed longer. The cottage is beautiful, warm, and inviting, beds are really comfy, its peaceful, with stunning views. Couldnt of asked for a better place to stay for a wedding weekend. Thank you.

We were a group of 4 friends celebrating a birthday, and we were looking for a relaxing stay in a beautiful place where we could chill and switch off. This was the perfect place! Comfortable, clean, beautiful surroundings. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming with loads of local knowledge. This was a great base to head out for local activities but lovely to come back to for a relaxing evening. We would definitely return, thank you!
