A superb place to observe the Northern Lights - and if it is windless, it mirrors in the sea as well. Tromsø city center bus, about 15 min. Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Beautiful and rustic house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing and watcing the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. For a fee, our guests can also book the ocean sauna hot tub facilities , with a woodfired hot-tub and sauna placed on a big outdoor deck with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone. Guests can use our 12ft rowing boat and some fishing gear for free during the summerseason.

Unique panorama – Senja

It can hardly be described - it has to be experienced. You live on the outside of adventure island Senja. You don't get any closer to nature - with a glass facade of close to 30 sqm you have the feeling of sitting outside while you sit inside. Whether it's midnight sun or northern lights - it will never be boring to see the sea, mountains and wildlife along Bergsfjorden. The cabin was completed in the fall of 2018 and has a high standard.

Hytte som ligger helt ved sjøkanten, stille område uten gjennomgangstrafikk. Dette er plassen hvor du blir alene i ro og fred. Enkel tilgjengelighet med 30 meter fra trafikkert vei. Greit med parkering. 32 km fra flyplassen. Flere matbutikker på vegen fra flyplassen. Veldig gode muligheter for nordlys, skiturer, fisketurer og flere turoperatører i nærheten. Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
