Tent vacation rentals in North Holland

Ingrid is an amazing host! all communication went well and she even gave usextra chairs when we asked. we had a wonderfull stay with a lot of privacy. amazing for a few days away.

We had a super nice stay! Everything was clean and tidy and all the essentials were there. The location is easy to do, but to the center of the Koog it is a long walk, a bike is very convenient! Ingrid was super friendly and quick to respond. All in all super recommended!

The lodge is very lovely, Michel & Josephine are very kind hosts! The communication was also very good. We could spend 4 relaxing days with a group of 6 people and a dog. Excellent place for a getaway from the busy cities.

Beautiful tent with fine beds. We thought it was a nice free campsite. Shared kitchen and campfire place makes it very cozy. Nice people, very relaxed!!

Excellent! Keep in mind that during sunny summer days it gets very hot in the tent.

we spent a night with 3 people in a tent. this was very spacious. advantage was that we had nice weather and therefore could sit outside at the picnic table. this tent was really something different for us, normally a hotel or challet, but this experience was super fun. especially because you could see the air from inside the tent. wonderful to wake up! went by bike to the beach, 10 min away. rented at the campsite.

Good accommodation for a few days in Almere and Amsterdam. Since you sleep in the tent, I also recommend warm clothes and hoping for good weather and then you have a good and pleasant stay. Barbera and her partner were very polite and also like to tell you about their garden and house building.

We had a lovely time with 4 adults and a dog in the safari tent. The toilets and showers were clean, for bad weather there is a lounge. The campsite is close to the dunes. The beach, the sea and “Petten Downtown” are within walking distance :) We will be happy to come back!

Very nice safari tent with everything provided, great beds on a nice campsite. We had a really nice stay for a good price The setting is beautiful, it is especially a nice (camping)place for children. We walked the barefoot path as well and that was also very nice! Had a great time. Thank you!

What a fun experience! This was my first time glamping and I loved it. The tent was very spacious, the bed very comfortable and cozy. I didn't need the mattress warmer but it's available. The leather chair and coffee table with coffee table books adds even more glamping charm. The breakfast bar and small stocked fridge are another great feature. The small bottle of wine was also very much appreciated. The tent sits in a lush garden surrounded by glasshouses where varies plants grow. Just outside the property there is a beautiful canal, bike lanes and there are two small towns nearby for shopping and restaurants. Amsterdam is a 1 hour bike ride away. It's very close to the airport and you do see and hear planes taking off but that quickly becomes a background sound which I didn't notice much. The shower and bathroom facilities are close by and very clean. Bruna and her husband were always ready to help, including when I had a flat tire.

The stay was great, The place is super quiet and pleasant. It is 20 min walking to Almere Poort station. From there take the central Amsterdam train and in 30 minutes you arrive in the centre of Amsterdam. Around the Tenda there are supermarkets, restaurants and bars. You can swim in the pool and ride a canoe. The tent we are in is spacious, accommodates 6 adults easily and has everything you need. The bathroom is great, kitchen equipped, the beds are comfortable and the fireplace works perfectly. The interior lighting of the tent could be better, but this did not hinder our stay. We love the place and will certainly be back.

The property and surroundings are beautiful. The host is super helpful and friendly and you feel right at home. Will definitely visit again. Great recommendation if you want to relax in the countryside.

Amazing stay! Definitely coming back for a second time. The place, the town, the surroundings, everything was very dreamy. You also have a lot of outdoor activities to keep yourself entertained. My dog loved the open space, tired himself out running all around! I wish I could stay for more time. Peter was a great host, always responsive and proactive. A must visit place of you're looking to stay outside of the buzz of Amsterdam and Hague.

I had a simply exceptional weekend in Laura's tent. The place is perfect for a romantic getaway: cozy, cute and very well thought out. Everything is tastefully decorated, the atmosphere is peaceful and the natural setting makes the experience even more magical. I would highly recommend it to those looking for a moment of disconnection for two. Thanks again Laura for the warm hosting!

i was allowed to stay with Peter and his family in May 2025 for a midweek. What a beautiful location!! Everything is well arranged, clear (and fast) communication. Made the stay even more pleasant! i was in safari tent 3, everything present, clean and well furnished! Wonderful beds, although it is recommended to bring warm clothes in the somewhat fresher months due to cold nights. Would I come here again? For sure, without doubts!!!
