Cute and cozy spot with beautiful surroundings and accommodating hosts, conveniently close to the city without all the hustle & bustle. We especially loved renting a boat nearby at Bootverhuur Overleek and exploring the surrounding villages along picturesque canals. A lovely spot to stay.

We recently had the opportunity to visit the wonderful city of Alkmaar and chose to stay at Nonney's apartment. We really enjoyed our stay there - it's a cozy and lovely place, the apartment is clean and spacious, with its own courtyard, which made our stay even more comfortable. We could enjoy breakfast or dinner outside when the weather was nice. The apartment is located not far from the city center and the bus station. It is equipped with everything you might need, including kitchenware, and even delicious coffee and tea. Nonney is a very kind and attentive host - she provided us with all the necessary information about interesting and useful places in Alkmaar and was always happy to respond to any of our requests. We definitely recommend this apartment for your stay.

This was our second stay at the apartment and it was just as good as the first. The apartment is light, bright and spacious. The location is perfect; close to town but super peaceful. Anke is a brilliant host and makes you feel most welcome.

We had a wonderful girls' weekend at the place! The house was exactly as described – very clean, lovingly decorated and well equipped. We particularly liked the cozy living area, where we could sit together for a long time in the evening. The location was ideal – quiet but still easily accessible. We loved our stay at Mabel’s cottage while we visited the Netherlands to celebrate my bachelorette! The house has a good mix of seclusion and convenience: there aren’t many neighbors nearby, which offers a good amount of privacy. It is also conveniently located right across the street from the train station - which is two stops (~15 minutes) to Amsterdam Central Station. If you wish to visit a different city other than Amsterdam on your stay, Haarlem was ~20 minutes and is another very cute and quaint city. The home was decorated beautifully and was maintained very well. Nonetheless, Mabel made us all feel right at home and was quick to respond whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend staying here - thank you again Mabel for hosting us!!

The house is very spacious, clean and has a great outdoor space. The bathroom is a stand out with a large shower and double sink. You can walk to the shops, restaurants and sightseeing in the city centre. Would certainly return to this gem in Alkmaar.

We had a super nice holiday week in the cozy cottage and the wonderful garden. The cottage is well located and well equipped.

We stayed with 4 adults and 2 babies in the house under the chestnut and felt super comfortable. The house is furnished with a lot of love, very cozy and well maintained. We felt right at home. The small front garden is beautiful and also behind the house you can sit nicely. With crawling children, the stairs would be very steep and not secured. It was ok with us. A baby bed was available. The communication with Astrid was completely straightforward. We were very warmly personally welcomed and would have been able to enter the accommodation earlier. Nearest beach is a quarter of an hour by car. Alkmaar is easily accessible by bus. Overall, we had a great stay and can absolutely recommend the place!

The place at Anna-Marijke's was very nice and cozy. Check-in was convenient and straightforward. Communication worked very well, Anna-Marijke always responded quickly. We were even able to spontaneously extend a day. The place is centrally located and yet very quiet. Beautiful hiking trails lead through the dune forest to the sea. It was very nice. One of our favourite Airbnb stays - Noortje’s place had everything - a unique space, well equipped, thoughtful touches and a beautiful location next to the working windmill. We were pleasantly surprised with Alkmaar - lots to see and do - the cheese market is a must. Some great bars and restaurants nearby in the old town. Oosterhout parkrun was less than 10 minutes by bike. Thank you for hosting us - I hope we will make a return visit one day. We have already recommended to friends and family.

The place was amazing! The host is really helpful, understanding and extremely friendly! The room is really big and has everything you need! It’s a really quiet neighborhood, so we loved spending our days or nights out in the garden. It was a perfect place for me and my partner to wind down and enjoy our vacation.

I wish I could give more than five stars! Miguel and Johanna were the best AirBnB hosts we’ve ever encountered. So welcoming, helpful, and kind. Provided lots of recommendations and were so accommodating. Our family of four found the apartment to be perfect for our needs, it was relaxing and peaceful after long days of walking. I can honestly say that this was the BEST Airbnb I've ever stayed in! Perfect apartment: super clean, everything worked, plenty of amenities, comfortable bed, huge shower, cute balcony, just fab. Words cannot express just how fortunate we were to find this place. Amanda is a fabulous host, responsive, friendly and so welcoming. The location is excellent, a short walk from the centre of town and likewise to the train station. So peaceful and handy amenities on the doorstep. The accommodation is so clean, stylish and homely, it could not have been improved. Thank you Amanda, you made our weekend truly special.

Els was very flexible with the arrival. She was extremely accommodating and very attentive in the form of small amenities such as drinks and snacks. Even bicycles were provided to us. We were positively surprised.

Bill’s apartment was fantastic for our stay. The parking was great and felt secure, and the tram link into Amsterdam is just around the corner. Great value for anyone looking to explore Amsterdam and be very comfortable over a long weekend!

We had an outstanding experience staying in Sem and Louise's home. They were everything you could hope for in a host and more—friendly, proactive, and helpful. Their flat is lovely. It is stylish, well-appointed, and exceptionally comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked and easy to navigate. The living room is spacious and a delightful place to read or watch TV. Though we didn't use it, it's really nice to have a full-sized dining table. The bedroom and master bath are upstairs. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom has both a shower and a large tub. There's an additional small bathroom downstairs. It was clean and cheerful, and we loved feeling like locals for a few days. The neighborhood is great and walkable to many cafes and restaurants. The hosts left a binder with restaurant recommendations, which is how we discovered Little Collins and the Scandinavian Embassy. All told, the experience was a 10/10. We loved the apartment and the hosts and will definitely return.

Comfortable, easily accessible and quietly located apartment. Perfect for exploring the place itself and the nearby North Sea, it is also only 30 minutes by car from Amsterdam. Elles suggests great food spots. We enjoyed it very much.

What an oasis! The small house is modern and lovingly furnished. The kitchen is flooded with light. Pleasant that the heating also works on cool June days. In addition, there is a large covered terrace. And chickens run on the meadow. The location is wonderful: by car we were quickly in the beautiful towns of Medemblik, Enkhuizen and Hoorn. Cycling is fun. Björn is very nice and straightforward. He surprised us with delicious apple pie and we were allowed to try the farm's own honey. Great that we had time until 11 am to check out. We enjoyed it very much.
