I simply cannot say enough about the care, and professionalism, that went into making the Index Sea Containers the idyllic Airbnb stay. From the moment of arrival, you will feel warmth and welcome that the home exudes. From the breathtaking views of the waterside Sauna, to the thoughtful design details throughout the house you will appreciate all that went into making this experience truly special. The highlights for us were the cozy beds, accent lighting throughout the home, pristine kitchen design, heated floors, best toilets on the planet (lol) and hearing the rain fall on the roof in the evening. We will for sure be back. Nick was top notch with his communication and seems like a stand up guy who really enjoys creating a space for people to share both time and memories. Book for a unique, and unforgettable, stay.

Celeste's place is fabulous! It's an adorable cabin with all the modern conveniences yet still a rustic, comfy feel. The location is amazing with beautiful mountains near by and a mountain river right down the road. It's in a nice little, quiet community, and yet it's only a couple of turns to get back on the highway. The space is clean, tastefully decorated, and has all the amenities and supplies you'll need. The hot tub is fabulous. The fire pit is so fun, too. Celeste is a wonderful host and was so helpful and friendly. She communicated perfectly, telling us what we needed to know but never bothered us. Just can't say enough good things about her and her amazing cabin. Thank you, Celeste! We hope to be able to enjoy your beautiful space again some day.

It was an amazing cabin and great experience, everything was fully stocked and a great little getaway for us.

Crissy is a very responsive and caring host. Her communication was timely; she went above and beyond to meet our needs and exceed our expectations. She proactively checked in with us, offered an early check-in, and made our entire arrival experience a breeze. The check-in process was very clear, thanks to the cottage instructions that were sent in advance. They also provided an excellent guide to local hikes, dining, and shopping. The A-frame cottage is an absolute gem where one can cook full meals in a well-stocked kitchen and enjoy them at a beautiful dining room table. We enjoyed the fireplace while playing board games provided by the host or watching a movie on Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Hulu (access provided by the host). The entire property was spotless, beautifully furnished with fantastic amenities like a modern sauna, hot tub, and a fire pit by the river. We had the peaceful and magical weekend we were looking for and hope to return soon.

This was a wonderful place to stay, and honestly we look forward to an opportunity to stay there again.

Super cute A-frame surrounded by a well managed outdoor space complete with Sauna, Hot tub, post-sauna cold shower and firepit complete with all of the cut wood you can shake a stick at. There's a bonus Airstream within about 40 yards on the same manicured lot that's equally cute. If you have more than 5 in a family/group that needs privacy, I'd consider renting that Airstream along side the A-frame so the group can spread out. With 3 teen+ daughters and a married couple, 5 was all the gender diversity we could handle in the A-frame. Girls got the well appointed master bath and Dad got the back 1/2 bath. 2 kids in the lower bedroom and 1 on the couch. Speaking of the well-appointed master bath, we don't see many cabins equipped with a Japanese style washlet/bidet but more owners should. Over the top for this already well done bathroom. Excellent instructions from the host(s) and very responsive. Well done to the owner/managers for a great get-away setup.

I can’t say enough good things about this little cabin. It was just as pictured including a fully stocked kitchen. Though the house is small, it never felt that way. The layout is great and we especially enjoyed sitting on the spacious patio watching the elk directly across the river. The cabin is conveniently located to the North Cascades National Park. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing little paradise in this area.

absolutely gorgeous cabin. amazing views and private access to the water was incredible. my girlfriend and I spent our 1 year anniversary here and it couldn't have been better.

Perfect cabin in the woods. A short walk to the local pond with a playground yielded some fun for the kiddos after being in town all day. Spent most our time in Leavenworth itself. Cabin had everything we needed. Perfect for a family of 4. We were able to coordinate an earlier check-in time as well. Caitlin was friendly and informative. Would come back again.

TLDR: Nicholas was a great host and the cabin was a great! Prior to the staying, Nicholas reached out and gave us clear instructions on how to get into the house plus some suggestions of what to do in the area. So great communication there. The cabin can easily accommodate 6 people (maybe 8 if there are small children who don't mind cramming on the couch). Everything was clean when we got there, towels were provided, and even firewood + fire starter was available for the small setup in the back. Location wise, the cabin is right along the Skagit River and you have a wonderful view of the river through the backyard. It's about a ~30-40 min drive to the North Cascades Visitor Center so, it's a great location if you plan on visiting. Lastly, I'm a huge fan of the simple exit instructions (just run the dishwasher) as well. Would definitely stay here again if I'm back in the area!

This is a perfect spot for a quiet getaway. I was alone with the river and a perfect mountain view all weekend, and this cabin had everything I needed. Hoping to make a return trip!

Great quiet getaway in the woods. The place was peaceful, well thought-out, and had everything we needed. Close enough to town for restaurants and shops, but still far enough out to truly disconnect and relax. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to recharge.

Carlo was a great host in every way. His beautiful property came right out of a dream that left me feeling relaxed and refreshed after days away from the daily grind. Lots of fantastic hikes for any skill level nearby, fun town things to do within 1 hour drive, and the most breath taking views everywhere! we will definately be back!

This was the perfect get away cabin! It’s just far enough out of the cities to feel secluded but close to enough to not feel like it’s a constant commute to do anything. The cabin was extremely well stocked and a very comfortable stay. Every evening was perfect with the deck and views to settle down for the night. I hope to be able to come again soon!

One of our favorite Airbnb stays ever! The photos of Allison's place don't do it justice. The cabin is cute, cozy and well maintained with a full array of spices, condiments and toiletries available. She was so thoughtful and proactive with checking in on us when a cold snap came in (usually at least 80 degrees, but it was in the 50's) to make sure we were warm enough. I could write a short novel about how delightful the surroundings by the cabin are. Pristine lake access, life jackets, kayaks, beach toys, lounge chairs for all. We did not mind the cooler than usual temperatures - we still sat outside to enjoy the peace and quiet as much as possible. Our six and two year old kids had a blast and asked when we can go back before we were a quarter mile down the road!

Perfect spot for my weekend retreat with my partner. Cozy, beautiful, and serene with so much wildlife to enjoy. Especially enjoyed sitting in the hot tub while looking up at the trees and listening to the forest sounds. Check in was super easy. Bed is very comfortable. It is a small cabin and the bed loft is in a small space at the top of a ladder, so may not be the best fit for larger folks or those who have mobility issues, but worked great for me and my partner.

We had a wonderful visit and enjoyed the breathtaking views. Julie and Peter have a wonderful vacation spot with everything we needed. Such a thrill watching and listening to the waves crashing into the shoreline. We would highly recommend their clean and comfortable home, and hope to visit again someday!

Our family had a great time staying in this house. Everything was as described and we felt right at home. Jon was proactive in communicating. Overall it's a great place to stay if you are in North Cascades area.

We were visiting North Cascade's NP and had booked the cabin as it was very close to it. The location is indeed very close. The Cabin has a rustic and charming vibe; the community is very safe too. We loved the kitchen and the amenities that it came with. We found everything we could think of including Cardamom for our chai. The Cabin is full of books and so we wish next time we will book for a longer time just to enjoy forest tranquility and take break from city/work chaos. However, a few things to note., given it is literally a cabin in the woods., it is self-sustained. Meaning, you will have to manage a few things, like making sure the batteries that the cabin runs on are charged, the water heater is turned on before you take shower. The cabin does have a flush toilet which was one of the main reasons for booking but it runs on a delicate plumbing. Nothing that you can't manage if you know in advance. The host is very helpful and responsive so that is huge plus.

We had a wonderful time here. We really enjoyed being right on the river. We saw 4 deer during our stay and the chipmunks were very cute. The chalet is private and comfortable.

This was the most beautiful and peaceful places that we’ve stayed! Location was idyllic and quiet; falling asleep to the sound of the creek just behind the property was heavenly! The hosts had everything well stocked for cooking, camp fires, grilling, cozying up next to the fireplace, and a refreshing night’s rest. We were sold on the pictures of this A-frame cabin but even then, the pictures didn’t do it justice of actually being there and experiencing it in person! This is what Muir meant in his nature writing when he says “Thousands of tired, nerve-shaken, over-civilized people are beginning to find out that going to the mountains is going home.” This was going home! This was a fountain of life!! Come to this place and find peace, rejuvenation, purpose, and fulfillment…the North Cascades are calling!
