Perfect host and a great place to stay! Recommend!

I immediately fell in love with the loft. Everything was right, Maaike has an exceptionally good furnishing style, easy to fall in love with and coordinated in detail. The loft is huge and plenty of space. Thank you Maaike and Mark for this great opportunity to enjoy my spa vacation in beautiful Holland. Amsterdam, Haarlem, Zaanvort am Meer and Alkmaar can be reached by car and train in no time. The weather was also good, so 10 out of 10 points.

We were traveling by bicycle and used Ben and Inge's accommodation for 3 nights. On the one hand, the proximity of Amsterdam (with a bus stop nearby and the train from Weesp... totally easy!) and the really beautiful small towns of Weesp, Muiden and Naarden. Inge brought us an incredibly great breakfast every morning on request. She is a great, very friendly host. Thank you so much for this great start to the day. We felt very comfortable with Ben and Inge and appreciated their hospitality very much. The small independent apartment is very quiet, very clean and cozy (as in the photos). Actually a real insider tip, ....psst, but don't tell anyone :-) Thank you, Inge and Ben for the great time! Thomas & Astrid

Had a great week staying with Lotte & Juan. ☺️👍🏻 Super nice contact with the two. However, we were not aware at the time of booking that the two live on the property, which of course is not a negative! 😊 Lotte also gave us some very good recommendations for excursion destinations and restaurants. 😉 Sweet, little cottage near Sassenheim. Well-equipped, very cozy bed, great bathroom with large bathtub! 😍 Beautifully bright. The staircase to the bedroom and bathroom area looks steeper than it is. 😅😉 The kitchen was also well equipped, even with a large fridge-freezer & dishwasher. We only missed a spatula. 😂 All in all, a great place to stay for a cozy holiday in the Netherlands! 🥰

Beautiful holiday bungalow with a prime location. The lake and the Como restaurant are within a few minutes' walk. The bungalow is very well equipped. Especially in the kitchen, nothing was missing. Spacious, very appealing rooms. Cozy beds and the right pillow for everyone. The connected, completely fenced garden area is equipped with great lounge furniture. Small children and dogs are also well taken care of here. We will be happy to come back.

We were on site with 2 dogs and had a very nice time. The place was clean and as described. For us, it was the ideal accommodation and we will be happy to come back in the future.

Claudia and Madeleon were very friendly and immediately available and always on hand if there was anything. They also gave us helpful tips for the area. The place was awesome and I really can't find a single negative point even if I look for it. We lacked nothing and the house was very spacious for 4 people and very lovingly furnished. We will be happy to come back soon!

The location was perfect for us and accommodations clean, quiet and private. Beautiful town! Hope to return someday!

Gorgeous! To see out the window stretching green, domestic and wild animals, from a welcoming house...it's incredible. Everything close to what matters, Amsterdam, The Hague, tulip fields, Keukenhof. Thank you!

The stay at Marjolein and Michiel's was exceptionally nice and cozy. Quietly located, beautiful ambiance with private pond terrace and garden. Ideal for cycling tours to the World Heritage Site to the mills in Kinderdijk, Rotterdam, as well as to Dordrecht. The water bus is also highly recommended! Since my husband turned 60, Michiel had thoughtfully put a nice bottle of Prosecco in the fridge for us in advance. Breakfast was very tasty and extensive. The beds are very comfortable. Overall, the room could be darkened well for sleeping. The car could be parked very safely in the courtyard. Thank you so much again for the wonderful stay!! Joke & Marcs place was ideal for us as it was well designed for a couple like us. The setting was peaceful and we could sit out in the evening with a drink overlooking the river. Everything we needed was provided and J&M were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you wish to explore South Holland.

I enjoyed my stay in Muiderberg. I needed a convenient place to stay for one night in between moving house and this apartment was the perfect solution. The host was very flexible with the check-in time and even let me park a large van in her driveway. The accommodation itself was spacious, clean and had a nice atmosphere. It's actually much nicer than the photos used on Airbnb. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a quieter place to stay nearby Amsterdam or to someone who wants some days away in a cute dutch town.

The only issue is that the ceiling in the upstairs loft is 190cm so if you're tall this cute cottage isn't probably ideal.

It is a very cosy and familiar apartment. Peaceful and super close to Amsterdam and Den Hague. You feel fast at home. The breakfast was super, so we could enjoy our trip. I really recommend Mark as a host.

What an absolutely beautiful place! The view is wide, green and peaceful, it's a short bus ride (2 stops) to the vibrant village centre, and easy to get to any travel hub. Such a perfect spot

We’ve now stayed in this beautiful, cozy little house for the second time – and it was just as lovely as the first. That’s exactly why we decided to come back. The house is tastefully and thoughtfully decorated, located in a quiet area, and the perfect place to relax. Our dog really enjoyed the park right across the street – great for walks. Our little son also had a blast, both playing in the house and exploring the city. We had an amazing time and felt right at home. Thank you – we’ll definitely be back!

I have stayed at several Airbnbs in the past few years and had wonderful experiences with each. This place has been the best place I have stayed. The host Maaike, is absolutely wonderful. Easy to communicate with, helpful, friendly and kind. The place itself is exactly as advertised. A great hideaway not far from several great destinations in the Netherlands. Quiet, comfortable, and private. When I come back to the Netherlands again, I will absolutely stay here again.

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Alkmaar! It is close enough to enjoy all that the city has to offer, yet it also provides a beautiful, peaceful escape from the business and crowds. Han and Kelly were great hosts, providing helpful recommendations and even rides from the train station and into Alkmaar. We also enjoyed hanging out with the dog, cat and chickens! We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was super clean, lovingly decorated and exactly as described. The location was perfect – quiet but still central. Mandy-Remko was very friendly, easy to reach and provided us with great tips. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. Absolutely recommended!

We had a great week at Tjeerd and Laurie's lodge. The accommodation is modern and tastefully furnished and the garden around it offers optimal privacy. The view of the horses(care) is very nice and fun. There is a lovely bed, nice shower, washing and dishwasher, in short, equipped with every luxury. Tjeerd responded quickly and kindly to our questions. The surrounding area provides a lot of peace and relaxation. In just under half an hour, we walked daily to the beach with beautiful luxury beach restaurants. In short, Tjeerd and Laurie, thank you and we'd love to come back!

We had a wonderful week at the Duinstudio. Particularly noteworthy is the equipment, everything is available, from kitchen accessories to the equipment in the bathroom with plenty of towels, bath mat, etc. A warm welcome from Annelies, who was always there to help. We really enjoyed sitting in the beautiful garden after a bike ride or a hike. Here, too, everything is well prepared, nice seating areas, charcoal for the grill, wood for the garden fireplace. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back!
