This beautiful new luxury holiday villa with covered lounge area (2025) is practically located in the Drents Friese Wold, next to a golf park and an outdoor swimming pool is 200 m away. The woods are in walking distance. Around the house is a spacious green garden with terraces where you can enjoy the day/evening. In addition, there are a shed for bicycles etc. There is ample parking on the property. There are 3 toilets and 2 luxuriously furnished bathrooms. The box-spring beds are 220. Energy neutral

With a staircase down, you enter the living room where it is wonderful to spend time, and you are on the same floor as the water. Our cottage is located directly on the water and offers you the possibility to dock your boat at a 16 m long private jetty. Due to the south orientation of the property, the garden is in the sun all day long. The new, modern kitchen includes a dishwasher, coffee machine, gas stove, oven and microwave. Dear guests, unfortunately I was forced to increase the prices by 12% for 2026, as the government has increased the VAT from 9% to 21%. I hope you ALL come back anyway.

These new (2023) thatched villas of Wetterhaghe have a beautiful unobstructed view over the Poelen, the Weisleat, in the middle of the Frisian lakes area. The sustainable villas have their own jetty with possibly a beautiful 8-person electrosloep! The sloop is available between April 1 and November 1. Just sail to the village for a drink or in the morning to the bakery for fresh sandwiches. But also a day trip over the Frisian lakes is a quiet sensation!
