Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Nolin Lake

I’m giving Kimberly a five star only because I can’t give her ten stars. The house was super clean. It had a clean smell as soon as we walked in the door. Kimberly checked on us every day to see if we needed anything. She had a basket on the kitchen table with all kinds of treats. I eat the Chips Ahoy cookies first. It was an added bonus to get to meet Kimberly at her boutique just a couple of blocks from the house. She is super sweet. It was like visiting with a friend. We would go back without any hesitation.

Location, Location, Location. I can't imagine being closer to the park without actually being in the park. The house was cozy yet spacious if that makes sense. The house has some essentials, (spices, dishwasher pods and detergent, shampoo, body wash) but no laundry detergent, so you need to bring some if you plan on using the clothes washer. An IGA and save a lot are about 20 minutes out, but they don't have a great selection, stock up on groceries elsewhere. Communication with the owner was quick on our first night when we couldn't figure out how to use the shower. I would stay here again if I'm ever back in the area. And by the way, Mammoth cave was amazing.

We had a wonderful stay at Simply Sailing. great cabin with everything you could need. great covered area to a park boat with pull through driveway. 2 mins from boat ramp, and close to a gas station and a great little pizza place. 5 stars for us. We look forward to staying again.

Had a great stay at Sasquatch Acres. Really nice spot l, peaceful but not too remote. Good location for exploring the surrounding area and the caves. Check in was easy, Lynn was proactive and directions excellent. Place was as described, has a nice cabin feel with some modern touches. Really relaxing few days with the family and dog, highly recommended.

From schedule, with instructions, to entry and during our stay, and to check out, easy and fast, and good communication with Ty, perfect 5 star. Ty had lots of beds with 3 full baths. TVs in every room made it nice for watching sports within any room. The back covered deck with lots of seating area was perfect for hanging out and using BBQ. Shopping and dinning very close and plentiful. We stayed 3 nights so that we could attend an event and still enjoyed hanging out with family. Thank you Ty !

What a beautiful home away from home. We felt safe and comfortable and coming from a big city, the tranquility was exactly what we needed. Anita’s house smelled amazing coming in, we were greeted with cookies and the kids loved it! Thank you for hosting us

This was the perfect stop for myself and my 2 sleepy pups! There was a beautiful walking trail immediately next to the house with gorgeous flora and fauna. The home was just what we needed and I would absolutely stay again!

Nice location and place was pretty peaceful inside and out. The fire pit was the best part but also being able to walk to city square was a plus.

Stayed here for a baseball tournament. Great location, very clean, nice size bedrooms and bathrooms. Overall a great place to stay!

Plenty of space for our large family to spread out. Here for graduation and had a wonderful time.

Romay is an awesome host. Quick response with clear instructions to in the home. Romay's home is just beautiful. The pictures give no justice to how beautiful the home is. Romay left ice cream and other items for my group to enjoy. The pool is very enjoyable with a TV outside and grills to use. I would 100% recommend booking this beautiful place. Definitely 5 stars from me. Thank you Romay.

If I could leave more than 5 stars for extra credit, I would. It was an incredibly peaceful stay. The horses were serene. The dogs were so so friendly. My 10 year old LOVED the tree house and the creek. (She wants a creek in our yard now. lol) The space was exactly as described, looks just like the photos. All the comforts of home. The kitchen had any dishes, pots, pans, containers, foil, etc. you could possibly want to use. And so CLEAN! And Tracy and her family are the most lovely people. I enjoyed getting to know them. I highly recommend staying here!!!!

It was perfect for our need to sleep, shower and rest in a cool, clean, dry log cabin. This was our first stay at an Air B&B and I hope future locations meet the same expectations.

Excellent value and I would rent this property again when we are in town. Host was very flexible and attentive. When there was a maintenance issue with the pool the host and the apartment complex handled it quickly with constant communication. The pool and the common area were clean and free of clutter etc.

We were in town for a baseball tournament. Was a great place to stay. Exactly as it looks online. 15 minute drive to fields. Would stay again.

We had a great stay at this cute cabin! It has a great deck and we saw tons of birds in the forest around the house. We also really enjoyed the sunsets over the trees with a view of the lake.

My husband and I enjoyed a three night stay at David and Dagmars cabin #2. It was a beautiful area, so peaceful, and it was awesome having a pond in our backyard. We loved sitting on the porch and taking it easy, just enjoying the view. We went for a hike on the property and found the troll bridge and waterfall. The cabin was spotless and felt so welcoming. Our fur baby had a wonderful time exploring the area as well. We went to Mammoth Cave and went on one of the tours-highly recommend! Dagmar was very communicative-which was appreciated. The only downside I can think of that we wished we could have stayed longer. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here. Dagmar and David- thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven. We hope to visit again soon!

This is the 2nd time that our family has stayed here, and I would highly recommend it if you enjoy playing in a lake. We're a pretty active family and really enjoy swimming, and this lakehouse is perfect for us in that there is lake access right on the property. We enjoyed the use of the charcoal grill (bring your own charcoal and lighter) and appreciated that the kitchen had all we needed for a 3-night stay. I had forgotten that there is no WiFi or cellular service, but it was a nice break from everything in the outside world!

The house was perfect for our weekend away! Plenty of space both inside and outside. We went to Mammoth Cave and Louisville from here, and it was a relaxing home base.

What a gem, we enjoyed our stay here. Half hour drive to the Mammoth cave visitor center, and State Park near by. Lots of games to choose from, the kids really loved going from one to the other. Back patio was great for grilling and enjoying the night on a quiet. over all a great place for our group of 14, we'll definitely stay here again if we come back this way.

Corlynn’s place was perfect for our family of five. It was a great home base for exploring the area—we visited Mammoth Cave, went horseback riding, and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. The beds were comfortable, and Corlynn was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

This was the perfect spot for a family vacation! We enjoyed this beautiful home with lots of amenities and peaceful surroundings. The house has so much to offer for all ages and is really set up perfectly to allow for gathering together as well as retreating to your own spaces as needed! Would 100% recommend!

This was exactly what we were looking for for our weekend getaway to Mammoth Cave National Park! It’s right between Mammoth Cave and Cave City, so driving to either is easy. The check-in process was seamless and the host provided great local recommendations for food and coffee! The house was perfectly clean when we showed up, and was exactly as advertised. Definitely recommend this house if you’re looking to spend some time in the area!
