The cottage is an old house completely renovated with taste, highlighting the original materials: exposed beams and stones, stone floor and terracotta. It includes two large rooms on the ground floor: a living room with sofa and armchair and a dining room with an attached kitchen. Upstairs are the two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and a spacious bathroom. The second bedroom has two single beds, it is possible to add a third bed.

Forboiserie is an old house built before the Great War. It has been maintained by our family and has retained its identity and its history. Most of the trees were planted by our grandfather Gustave. Some are hundred years old. Many are rare species. Our grandfather loved trees. You will find home in conditions which are those of our personal use with its simplicity, its qualities and its rusticity.

AUTUMN, WINTER? It's possible, but you have to be well equipped! No heating in the cabin. A quiet cabin, to stay in or stop at on your hiking trails. Comfortable sleeping arrangements for two under the trees, with beautiful views of sunrises. Access to a bathroom/toilet and electricity (in our house). PLEASE NOTE: arrival required BEFORE 8:30 p.m. to allow your check-in to go smoothly.
