Our home & 4 yr old fully self-contained cottage is on a 0.9 hectare (2.3 acre) "lifestyle" property in the country but is only 5 mins drive from the University and 4 local schools, our local supermarket, post office and food outlets. We are also 15 mins drive from Hamilton central business district (CBD), the Hospital and Wintec in one direction and the Airport in the other direction. We do NOT charge separate cleaning fees (NB when comparing), offer a 25% discount for 1 week, 35% per month.

The Potter’s Pad is a gorgeous, private tiny home in the foothills of Pirongia Mountain, with stunning countryside views in every direction The perfect place to experience off grid living but with all the luxuries. Stay in a Housetruck built from recycled/reused materials on the back of a Mack Truck. A Queen bed in the front loft and one single bed in the back. The Housetruck has basic kitchen facilities. Jug, toaster, fridge and microwave. A shower inside the truck, it runs from a califont so is set to one temperature using one tap. Please note that the toilet is located in a separate building about ten steps away along with the washing machine. You have unlimited private access to these.

It is the perfect retreat, a place to break up your journey or as a base for the many tourist, cycling or walking activities the Waikato has to offer. The cabin has a queen-sized bed with ensuite. The kitchenette has gas hobs with small fridge, kettle, toaster, and all basic utensils. Milk, tea and coffee are included. There’s wifi and a TV with Chromecast.
