Cosy garden cottage style flat with patio views

AlanRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We loved it. It was perfectly located for what we wanted to do, the view was amazing from the Patio breakfast and drinks. We were unbelievably lucky with the weather for late September, and didn’t need all the woollens that we had taken. It’s a steep hill to get to the place from the town, but very quickly got used to it. Overall. Super super happy with the place and if we come back to the lakes we would choose to come back here. (For the owners - many apologies for the broken glass, meant to replace but ran out of time).
A spacious dining area features a wooden table set for up to seven people, surrounded by simple wooden chairs. Large windows provide abundant natural light and offer views of the lush garden and woodland beyond, creating a serene atmosphere.

East View Cottage

IlliaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great place within driving distance of the Lakes. All as described. Places was tidy, and even had shampoos, handwash, towels, and a quite a few sundries in the kitchen that really helped. Nice to have a backyard to sit out in the sun, and the dining room has the most comfortable armchair to read in. There is a delay for hot water to heat up (not a biggie, just requires a little planning), and was a little bummed that you can hear some car noise in the backyard when relaxing. But that's on me, as you can see that on the map. Very grateful for the stay.

Meathop Hall, Studio 1

I stayed here for two nights with my husband, as we had friends staying in the caravan park next door, so within walking distance. Everything about the studio was exactly as advertised. It wasn't huge, but not a squeeze either. There was brew kit there and a most welcome little jug of milk in the fridge. We didn't use the hob, microwave or air fryer, but they were clearly all clean/ new. We were able to park right next to our room, which was great! All in all, I'd totally recommend this place. I only needed to contact Lilly once and she was most helpful. Thank you.

Rosebank Cottage

The cottage was very clean and had all the amenities need for my stay. I was always able to get parking outside the property. This is in a very quite street and neighbourhood and within 400m of a public pathway with access to the surrounding hills and woods. An excellent location for hikers to stay and within 15min drive of Kendal with easy access to the main roads to the Lake District and South Cumbria surrounding areas. The host were excellent and provided loads of information on the locality and gave detailed directions to the propriety and instructions to ease check in.

Beautiful Cartmel Village Cottage

Perfect Luxury Getaway in Cartmel We had a wonderful long weekend in this beautiful cottage – it was exactly as pictured, with tasteful décor and lovely high-end touches throughout. The location was perfect both for enjoying all that quaint Cartmel has to offer and for exploring Westmorland. everywhere we ate was top quality. Can highly recommend lunch at Rogan. The welcome hamper was a thoughtful surprise, and the host was very friendly, responsive, and very understanding when we had a small accidental breakage. It was the perfect base for a relaxing trip. Highly recommended!

We only stayed at Lynne’s for one night on a road trip, but it was a wonderful spot to stop and recharge. The space is lovely and Lynne made us feel very welcome!
A shaker style kitchen is presented in navy blue cabinetry, complemented by a central island featuring a white countertop. Pendant lights hang above the island, while plush bar stools provide seating. The room is brightened by natural light streaming in through a nearby doorway.

Absolutely beautiful house with plenty of space. Very clean and so well decorated. Easy to find and good location for cartmel (a drive away). Didn’t realise it was so close to quite a fast road so would need to be careful with children or dogs.
