Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Newcastle upon Tyne

We had not been to the area before but were delighted with the accommodation and with Cullercoats. The cottage was stylish and luxurious, ticking all the boxes for a really comfortable bed, great shower, well-equipped, excellent kitchen and everything you needed for a short stay or a longer one. The upstairs ensuite bedroom had a lovely sea view and was really peaceful. The downstairs double room and separate bathroom were practical as we had family visiting. The neighbourhood was quiet and friendly and the location was superb - the cottage was minutes from the beach, a small supermarket and the Metro. You could walk from the door into Whitley Bay or Tynemouth. The beach was excellent and we swam in the sea. The coastal pathway between Whitley Bay and North Shields with its separate cycle lanes will be a wonderful asset and parts of it are already completed. We settled in really well and very quickly and were a bit sad to leave. Thank you to Vikki.

Easy to find, beach 5 mins from property, the house was well kitted out and very dog friendly, within easy reach of shops. Be aware of the places to walk your dog on the beach ( times of the year) as the neighbour pointed out they fine you £1000 and have wardens who do check. We used the house as a base to discover the stunning coast line / Villages, Holy Island a must see. Gary was a great host and left fresh bread and milk /juice for when we arrived. We would recommend this place

A wonderful place to stay. Rosemary's place was just as described. Very comfortable, especially the beds. Fully eqipped with everything you need. Our host responded promptly, politely and really made us feel at home. The house is brilliantly located, minues from the sea front, Co op at the end of the street, lovely cafes and eateries. Cullercoats Metro a minute away. I have to say that the house was lovely and quiet and we both slept so well. Cullercoats is a lovely spot, lovely beaches to walk slong, Whitley Bay minutes away fun shops and cafes. Tynemouth similarly a lovely spot, beaufiful Edwardisn buildings, smart shops and cafes. We had a few day trips also....Alynmouth one of my favourites. All in all a lovely holiday.

lovely house,comfy beds. loved the under floor heating in the breakfast kitchen, everything you could possibly need supplied. very responsive host. Close to Newcastle for events etc

We all had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need. The location was perfect for our visit and is ideal for visits to Beamish Museum. We will definitely come back and stay for longer. Jane and her family were very friendly and helpful, and we loved Ginger the cat.

Second time staying at this beautiful cottage and hopefully not our last. Such a nice location, John and Marion are great hosts. The cottage is spotless and has lots of nice touches. Would highly recommend.

The cottage is delightful, very clean and well equipped. The bed is very comfortable. The location was great, a short walk to the city and we loved climbing the hill back to the cottage. There is a Sainsbury’s mini market within walking distance. Wendy was a great host and answered our questions promptly.

We had a lovely time. The house was very nice and well worth the money. There was lots to do around the area and further afield. Melanie was very helpful and responded immediately to any questions. An excellent place to stay to explore the North East!

We had a great stay. Everything was really clean and cosy. Location was great - only a 5-10 minute uber to the city centre. James was really responsive too. Would recommend to anyone!

Lovely apartment, felt right at home :) really close to lots of restaurants and a 10 minute Uber into the centre so couldn’t fault it! Laura was an amazing host and we would definitely recommend!!

Fabulous apartment in a fabulous location. Spacious and tastefully decorated. Lovely little garden with beautiful roses, overlooking the river. Lots of parking. Pub overlooking a marina only 5 mins walk away. Great pubs, bakeries and restaurants 5 mins drive away in the quirky and atmospheric Ouseburn area. the quayside a short walk. Jordan was very responsive. It was our son’s wedding and he kindly left a bottle of fizz. Highly recommend - 5 star all round. Would definitely stay here again.

A lovely place to stay. The flat is beautifully decorated throughout. We loved staying there. It was calming and relaxing and the bed was extremely comfortable, excellent mattress. The whole place was very thoughtfully equipped with everything you may need for your stay. A stone's throw from the seaftont with lovely shops and restaurants nearby. And the metro station a short walk away can take you anywhere in the area. We would love to stay again. Highly recommended.

Really nice place in the perfect location for where I wanted to stay. The place was really nice and homely and had everything we needed and more. Very child friendly. Mark was very responsive and helpful. I’d love to stay again.

Niel‘s place was great, a secure and quiet location and Niel and Karen were friendly and helpful hosts. The apartment was perfect for the two of us for a short visit. Would definitely recommend.

The house/flat is beautiful! And well decorated. Easy check in, easy to find and plenty of on street parking, we had a car and a van and could park without any issues. Flexible check in/check out, good wifi and smart TV with Netflix and Disney etc. tvs in each bedroom, very spacious and garden space, good sized kitchen and bathroom. Host was very friendly and responsive, accommodating us for a late check out and being very helpful with check in/check out info. Only issue we found was some neighbours were quite loud. More so the upstairs neighbour stomping around. But other than this the perfect stay.

Abi’s place was in a great location overlooking the sea. The house was immaculate with high quality fixtures and fittings. It was very spacious and ideal for our family of 4 with one baby

Lovely clean and well presented accommodating including a well stocked biscuit tin. Kitchen was very clean and as was the rest of the flat and the flat and the walk-in shower/bathroom was very easy as was the shower, with great water pressure. Finally, all within a stones throw of a host of restaurants.

We booked this apartment at very short notice following a change in our plans. The hosts responded very quickly to make the property available for us and even allowed us flexibility with our check in. The Old Bakery exceeded our expectations and was perfect for our short break holiday being close to Cullercoats and Tynemouth centre and a great stretch of beach. Next time we are looking to stay in the area we will definitely be booking this again.

Had a great few days staying at Priya’s lovely home- exactly as described/looks on photos. Easy check-in, comfy beds, kitchen amenities-great location with lots of pubs, restaurants, shops and a local park within walking distance and only 10 min drive to Newcastle City Centre. Overall wonderful stay and great value for money, would 100% come back!

Booked as I was working in the area and bored of hotels. It made a few days working away bearable. The apartment was exactly as described, immaculately clean and modern. Once inside it's really private no noise, and very calm decor. Kathryn was really responsive and keen to ensure I was comfortable and all needs met. Will definitely be booking again when staying in the North East for work, a lovely home away from home.

Thank you Lynn for a wonderful 4 days at your apartment. Bringing my mum and dad back to Sunderland after years away has been made so much nicer by having a perfect place to say. Communication has been excellent since the day I booked to the day you met us when we arrived. Seeing my parents smiles when we walked in told me I had made the right choice, you were so welcoming and the views from the living room are amazing, everything was fantastic and your advice on where to go for the football was perfect 👌🏻 Communication has been excellent and it was so good to meet you on our arrival, hopefully we will return in the near future as there are still many places to return to for more reminiscing.

Delighted to say we have just enjoyed the most wonderful week at Julia’s flat. The bed is super comfy, the kitchen works and the sofa is perfect to lounge on after a long day walking and exploring. Everything is as lovely as seen in the photos. Pleased to say I can totally recommend Julia’s flat to anyone who has been meaning to visit Northumberland. It’s well worth the visit.
