Vacation rentals with a fireplace in New River Gorge National Park & Preserve

We loved our stay at the Red Roost! The boys loved the coop. We enjoyed being close to the city but also in the woods. My 8 year old loved all of the different lofts to sleep/play in. This home had all of the little things, forget your backpack for hiking (check), a bin of flashlights (checks), books for reading (check), walking sticks (check). Would love to visit this home again.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed. It was comfortable, inviting, and exactly what we were looking for. If we ever come back to West Virginia, we’ll definitely be booking this place again. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Our family had a great time at Ryan’s place. The spacious, updated kitchen and outdoor space meant plenty of room for everyone when preparing meals and eating together. The house is in a great location within walking distance of shops and restaurants. It was fun to be there!

Jessica is an awesome, responsive, and helpful host for a very clean, relaxing, family-style house. It was the perfect place for my family to use as a base camp for vacationing in the area. It's very close to kayaking, and just a short drive to white water rafting, hiking, and other outdoor activities. Thanks Jessica for being such a wonderful host!

Traveling home from beach vacation, house is very convenient to highway. Highway noise is not an issue at all.

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was clean and cozy. We appreciated the extra cozy blankets provided and extra towels. The location was perfect and we were close to everything that we came up to do! Thank you also for the warm welcome & water & snacks. They really came in handy. Beautiful location. Even though it is "off the path" a little (which is what we prefer), it was still very convenient to anything you might want to do. The park was super close, great places to eat or shop also very close by but yet the home is tucked away in a beautiful area and very private. Colleen could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed meeting her and staying at her place. The gorge is fantastic and very close, a hidden gem for sure!

Troy and Hilary’s place was in an awesome location, close to great restaurants, and the National Park. We only had to drive 10 minutes or less to the majority of the attractions that interested us. They were also super helpful with ideas of restaurants and things to do and responded immediately with any questions we had. The neighborhood was quiet and the house was comfortable and clean. Check in and check out was a breeze. All in all a great experience! Definitely recommend!

This was our second time staying at Diana’s place. She is always so kind, helpful, and communicative. We had an issue with the hot water (a breaker) and they were able to get it taken care of immediately. Diana also allowed me to alter my reservation when I had to leave a bit early for a family emergency. The Airbnb itself is large enough for a family, comfortable, and close to Beckley, the new river gorge, and anything else you may need. Diana and her brother are excellent hosts and we will be using this place for our yearly visit to the Beckley area. Thanks for the great stay, Diana!

This was a great stay for us! Enough space for all of us to hang out comfortably, especially with access to the porch. We had a great time; Hinton is am underrated town, and the area is gorgeous.

My Husband and I absolutely Love this Airbnb!!!!!! It's the only place we ever want to stay while we are in Beckley, WV. The Airbnb is Always spotless & beautiful! It''s So comfortable!!! Words can not express how amazing my stay was. First the location of the apartment is in the cutest little town , like something out of a hallmark movie. The host left clear instructions on how to get in and even left the lights on for me because arrived late at night. When I opened the door to the place it not only looked like the photos but even better in person! The place was clean, had all the amenities one would need for a stay and it was cozy, modern and I felt right at home. Even when I had to extend my stay the host was helpful and responded with a timely manner with the updated pricing, Pamela was also responsive and such a kind person to have as a host. I would definitely recommend this stay for future guest!

Great location for exploring New River Gorge. All around good spot for 2 people!

I stayed in this unit for almost 3 months. The location was quiet, despite being above businesses and I never heard any noise from below. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the river and relax on the balcony that has chairs and tables. There's plenty of parking out front of the building. The building is secure. The apartment is just like the pictures. It's modern and has plenty of wall plugs. It has many amenities and lots of little extras Pam has included so all you need do is bring food and enjoy your stay. And it is super clean. Hostess Pam was very friendly, proactive and quick to reply to communications. You won't be disappointed staying here.

The condo was very well kept. We planned on eating out for most of our meals, but the kitchen was a little tight if there were multiple people in there at the same time. Not a bad thing, just something we noticed. We would definitely stay there again.
