Vacation rentals with a fire pit in New River Gorge National Park & Preserve

it was a pleasure staying at Kelly's listing. she's wonderful to work with and her rental is beautiful. we had a very much needed weekend get-away among friends. lots of hiking, relaxation, and lots of laughs thanks to having such a great place to call home for our weekend adventure. thank you Kelly!

Clean and comfortable. Very convenient for hiking and rafting in the New River Gorge. It took us a minute to figure out that it was the house at very end of the alley/drive, but after that everything was great.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The kids loved being next to the water to fish anytime. The amenities were convenient and enjoyed the grill and fire pit. We floated the river with 35 family members and had a blast. We fished with New River Trophy Outfitters and the guide was very experienced and knew where all the best spots were. The house is very close to the railroad tracks but wasn't a problem because every house in that area is by the tracks. Plus, the kids liked learning about the different trains. We appreciated Amy's willingness to accommodate my mother's visit as she has to use a walker, and the stairs were a little too much for her. We had a wonderful stay at Mary's House.

Perfect location for exploring Fayetteville and New River Gorge! Such a great trip. Caleb was responsive and kind! Little slice of paradise for anyone looking to get away :)

Kristi’s home was cozy and clean, a perfect stay for our group of 2 adults and 2 children! The beds were comfortable and the blackout curtains and bedside lamps were wonderful. We enjoyed the kitchen table for meals and games - the kitchen was well stocked and easy to navigate and cook meals in! We loved the large deck for hanging in the evenings. The location was about 15 min away from Ace Adventure and about 15 min away from downtown Fayetteville. It was a peaceful stay and we’d recommend checking out this home!

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was clean and cozy. We appreciated the extra cozy blankets provided and extra towels. The location was perfect and we were close to everything that we came up to do! Thank you also for the warm welcome & water & snacks. They really came in handy. Great place and great host. It was exactly as described and close to the Gorge and downtown Fayetteville. We can't wait to stay there again when we return.

Troy and Hilary’s place was in an awesome location, close to great restaurants, and the National Park. We only had to drive 10 minutes or less to the majority of the attractions that interested us. They were also super helpful with ideas of restaurants and things to do and responded immediately with any questions we had. The neighborhood was quiet and the house was comfortable and clean. Check in and check out was a breeze. All in all a great experience! Definitely recommend!

Highly recommend staying here! The location has great access to surrounding outdoor recreational areas and isn't too far from town. It's quiet, comfortable, clean, and decorated really nicely (in my opinion). Teddy, the store owner, is also really friendly and responsive. We were very comfortable in the space as a group of 4. Places with more than 1 bathroom are harder to come by for the area, so it was nice to have the extra 1/2 bath. In terms of accessibility: The parking/outdoor area is gravel, grass, and stepping stones. There are stairs to get inside, and more stairs inside to get up to the main area. The full bathroom has a large shower.

I loved staying here! It is in a quiet location (just the occasional train passing by!) and right on the river. Amy has everything you need to be comfortable in the space. I loved every minute of my stay!

This was a great stay for us! Enough space for all of us to hang out comfortably, especially with access to the porch. We had a great time; Hinton is am underrated town, and the area is gorgeous.

Great location for exploring New River Gorge. All around good spot for 2 people!

The place was spotless. The location was close to whitewater rafting, trails, restaurants, and stores. It was private and quiet. We did get to see deer and hummingbirds right outside the window. It was very well equipped with washer and dryer. The king bed was very comfortable along with the pull out couch. The bathroom was absolutely beautiful, clean, and roomy. The local art and photography the place was decorated with was a nice touch and beautiful. Host responded very quickly and very helpful for any of our needs. This place exceeded our expectations, would definitely stay here again.

The condo was very well kept. We planned on eating out for most of our meals, but the kitchen was a little tight if there were multiple people in there at the same time. Not a bad thing, just something we noticed. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a great time at Linda’s place! The cabin was so charming and very very clean! The coffee bar and collection of games/toys for kids were a great touch. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing place, really close to New River Gorge for any of the hikes, trails, rock climbing etc. House was great and quick responses from the host.

The WV Hideout was absolutely perfect! Very clean and excellent location close to just about everything 👌 Our pups loved the fenced in yard ❤️ and the gated porch gave us peace of mind too when they were not playing in the fenced in area. Would highly recommend! Thank you!

This was a great stay that was right next to Hawks Nest State Park and within 10 minutes or so of the northern part of New River Gorge National Park. We prefer to cook our own food when we travel and this place had a nice little kitchen and charcoal grill. I would maybe suggest adding either an extra table inside or a picnic table outdoors just to have a bit more surface space for food prep but otherwise no complaints. The hot tub was very relaxing after lots of hiking. Hoping to return to the area and stay here again next year.

We loved our stay at the cabin! It was just as described and perfect for a long weekend trip. We enjoyed the screened in porch and the fire pit out back the most. Although there are other houses around, it feels very secluded and private. We would definitely stay again!

Such a cute little cabin!! It was a perfect stop while we were driving thru unplanned. Only item to note is the fishing tournament does go til 1a on Fridays!
