“What a great place to stay. Hosts were very easy to deal with and quick to answer any questions. They left Chocolate chip cookies, and items for a breakfast which included eggs, bacon, bagels, butter, jam, juice and milk for tea. They had me at cookies! :) Very clean with supplies for washing dishes, and bathroom items so you are staying more then a day or two you don't have to run out to the store right away. Large bedroom and comfortable bed and over all a nice large space good for two people and even enough room with the futon or air mattress for another couple or kids. Very central spot just a cpl of mins of the highway and close to Kentville and its amenities. Great place to stay if you are going to explore the valley region anytime of the year. We were there for a volleyball tournament and cant wait to come back in the spring / summer to enjoy the golf course and the huge outside deck with a fantastic view of the surrounding area. Thanks for allowing us to stay at your property. Kevin”
We have a 3-bedroom, 1.5 bath property on the edge of New Minas, NS, and located about 2 minutes from Wolfville. Accessible by exits 11A and 11 off of Highway 101, the house was built in 2017 and has been available as an Airbnb rental since September 2018. The open-concept unit is comfortable with 6 people, but it can accommodate up to 8. It's certainly a better deal than renting 2 or 3 hotel rooms, and it has a full kitchen and laundry facilities. We're also happy to be superhosts!
“Wow! We have stayed at many air b n b homes and this has been the best! Super clean, very spacious and equipped with all the amenities to make a family feel at home. The home is also in the perfect location for exploring the many wonderful local attractions. We stayed for 2 weeks and it felt like 'home'. The kitchen has everything you need for preparing meals and is so spacious with a wonderful large dining area. The beds are very comfortable and an ample supply of towels, linens, etc are provided. The home is located in a safe neighborhood and we took several walks on the lovely "harvest moon" trail which is just a 5 minute walk from the home. Our family of three will definitely be back here to stay again next year!”
Welcome to Port Williams, NS! A five minute drive from popular Wolfville in the Annapolis Valley. Enjoy a cozy cottage in a quaint village within a two minute walk of our region's most popular microbreweries & restaurants: The Port Pub, Wayfayers' Ale, and The Noodle Guy! Other nearby attractions: Acadian dykelands, antique shops and a vintage clothing shop. This peaceful spot is ideal for touring the Valley, with the Bay of Fundy, Grand Pre's World Heritage Site and Acadia University close by!
“I can’t even accurately describe how outstanding Peg and Ed were during our stay. Logan and I had a host cancel on us last minute and we had to scramble to find somewhere to host us for the weekend. We intended on going completely off grid, but unfortunately that was made impossible due to lack of availability around the area. But that being said, we made it work. There were enough hotspots around the area to go weed whacking and hiking, as well as good spots in the neighbouring woods to have a backwoods bonfire. Peg and Ed greeted us with kindness and great introductions, and we also enjoyed the brief pets we got with their kitties from the main house, made us miss our babies back home, though. I also made use of the piano, a perk that wouldn’t have been available to me had we been out in the woods. Definitely could use a tuning, but good sound nonetheless! They also had a lot of local literature and local business products, which is a good way to promote the places in their town We were overpacked, for sure. But like I mentioned, we originally packed to be in the middle of the woods somewhere. It was an amazing stay. We wish we got more time to get to know them too because their personalities and character were glowing. They radiate goodness, and the Nook is a reflection of that. Thank you guys for everything.”
