Vacation rentals in New Mahe

The stay was beautiful. We went during the peak summer so it’s obviously extremely hot, so stayed inside this amazing stay during day time, enjoying the view from the balcony. There was air conditioning but I think the capacity of air conditioner is not sufficient for the space of the room. Had to keep it on for so many hours to feel the room cooling down. No food places to go nearby, the airbnb helper cooks amazing sea food, other than that one can be able to order food from swiggy. Totally worth the price, very remote. Might have a bit of trouble to communicate with the helper/maid because she only knows malayalam, but easily manageable with a bit of effort and google translate.

It is a good place and you can have a nice time working and living here. All facilities are there to make this a vivid coliving - a nice kitchen, a garden area, spacious couches and a common desk area. (The pictures are 100% real). I regret that I had no real contact to the other guests though during my short 3 days stay. But when I ran into a gathering of Athul with his friends I got invited to join and felt like an old friend immediately – indian hospitality at its best. The place is in walking distance from downtown with a good selection of restaurants, shops, markets and the railway station. It's a residential area still so if you're planning on activities like going to the beaches be prepared to take a Rikshaw.

This was my first stay at a homestay. I wasn't sure what to expect. However it turned out to be a great experience. We were welcomed with a refreshing lemonade drink by friendly host. They helped us settle down quickly. All amenities are good. We being strict vegetarian, kitchen was really useful. Thank you Babu and special thanks to Amma as well. Beach is just five minutes walk where we spent lots of time.

I’m writing this a bit late since we returned last weekend, but I wanted to take the time to share our experience properly. My family travels to Bangalore every year and usually visits nearby destinations. With an age group ranging from 5 to 75, our annual trip needs to be just right—and this time, it truly was! Regal Retreat was one of the most beautiful places we've stayed at. The staff were incredibly helpful—special thanks to Ajay and the lovely ladies who made us feel so welcome. The location was perfect, and what stood out most was that the place looked exactly like the photos—no surprises, just pure charm and comfort. Thank you so much, Regal Retreat, for making our holiday so special. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

5-Star Stay with Exceptional Hospitality – Thanks to Host Mubeena! My recent stay at this Airbnb was absolutely wonderful, thanks to the incredible hospitality of the host,mubeena from the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The place itself was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities we needed. But what truly made our experience special was “Mubeena’s kindness”She not only arranged transportation for us, making it so much easier to explore the area, but also prepared a “delicious breakfast” for morning. Her attention to detail and warm hospitality made us feel right at home. If you’re looking for a stay with a personal touch, I highly recommend this Airbnb. “Mubeena is an outstanding host”who truly cares about her guests. I can’t wait to visit again!

One of the best stays, we were group of 5 friends and we just felt like home. Host Poornima gave us clear instructions to check-in. The stay was just like what it was shown in pictures. Also the host helped us in getting our bike problem solved with help of locals on a Sunday. So all in all a top place to stay near Kannur.

1) The place is just next to river side and one can go for morning and evening stroll which is really calming 2) The stay is as great as it looks in pictures and balcony is icing on the cake 3) Best part are the hosts, they will actually treat you with all the warmth and gave great tips for the places to look around 4) I reached quite early in the morning and hosts were quite responsive and did not irate even for a single min after I called multiple times to understand few details 5) The meals served were really yummy 6) I was traveling solo so they really were thoughtful and kept a check if I am safe whenever I roaming around the town

Our stay at Kaithara Heritage Home in Kannur was an absolute delight, especially for our group of 15 (including children!). This heritage gem strikes the perfect balance between old-world charm and modern convenience, all wrapped in warm hospitality. **The Property:** Impeccably maintained and brimming with character, the property feels like a living museum. The traditional architecture, polished wooden interiors, and lush gardens create a serene atmosphere. Despite our large group, there was ample space for everyone to relax, play, and bond. The kids loved exploring the nooks and crannies, while the adults appreciated the cleanliness and thoughtful amenities (modern bathrooms, reliable Wi-Fi). Though we didn’t meet Mr. Xavier in person, he was exceptional! He responded swiftly to every query, ensuring our check-in and stay were seamless. The real stars on-site, however, were the caretakers **Titu and Shreya** – their kindness and attentiveness made. Highly recommended
