Cabin vacation rentals in New England

My girlfriend and I escaped to Courtney’s cabin for a week after I graduated law school and before starting bar prep. I really needed a place to just completely relax, and this spot was perfect. The cabin was exactly as described and was incredibly clean. The hot tub was wonderful and I looked forward to using it every day! If you’re a bird watcher, this place is perfect for it—I would sit on the deck with my binoculars and see tons of warblers, woodpeckers, thrushes, and other birds. I think there actually may have been a pileated woodpecker nest nearby because of how frequently I saw them. Everything you need is close without being too close (grocery store, gas station, restaurants, etc). Overall a wonderful experience and I will definitely be returning!

Amazing plaice. If you are looking for a place fulfilled with serenity, joy and nature, this is a place to go. The house made with love, clean and big. The creek and sounds of water with the fire pit meditative. The hot jacuzzi on the creek is relaxing and fun. The owners are nice people, very orginized and quickly responding to any conserns you migjt have. Walks on the nature is available. We will be back!!! Thank you James and Erene!!

We had an amazing getaway at the cabin! Great and beautiful place to disconnect and unwind! We will definitely want to come back in the fall. Highly recommend!!

Easy drive from Boston. What I loved most about the cabin is that it is cozy and had an indoor fire option. It rained all weekend, but the cabin was so cozy! We had no qualms about sitting in the hot tub under the rain, and spending the evening in front of the wood burning stove as the rain pattered on. So close to restaurants in South Royalton!

The cabin in Penobscot was exactly what we needed for a quick trip away. Not only was it quiet and peaceful, but the cabin itself was beautiful, thoughtfully appointed, and extremely comfortable. We came up to Maine to see Acadia and Bar Harbor, and while they were a bit of a drive away, it was an easy and scenic drive. The cabin is perfect for couples and families alike, and we can’t wait to stay again in the future!

This place the atmosphere the surroundings it was all so lovely and needed, the price paid off. I loved the views the water and the shower outside. The bed was so comfortable very clean the place overall was very comfy I felt so comfortable. I recommend this place for a stay if you love to be away from people and need calmness. Everything was on spot from the house, the area outside to everything included. Thankyou so much for this, 10/10

A wonderful weekend getaway! My husband and I stayed at Sophia’s place this past weekend after our wedding and it was exactly what we were hoping for. During our wedding we opted to exchange vows privately, but we didn’t end up reading them to each other until the following day after we had arrived. Who else can say that they exchanged vows while sitting by a cozy fire making s’mores?! Sophia’s home will hold a special place in our hearts. We had such a lovely stay at the Zink cabin! The cabin was small but had everything we needed, and was extra-cozy. I was worried it would be cold, but the automatic fireplace worked like a charm and added such a nice cozy touch. The kitchen impressed us with the Nespresso machine and the modern cutlery and cookware. The hot tub and fire pit worked well and gave our weekend that relaxing luxe vibe, which is exactly what we were hoping for. My only comments would be that the road getting up to the cabin had a ton of huge potholes, and I just have a small sedan, so was a bit uneasy about that. The cabin is also very modern and automated, so finding the specific light switches, or learning how the Alexa controlled things took a slight learning curve. But overall, we had a very relaxing, comfortable, and cozy stay and would absolutely stay there again.

Spent a beautiful weekend at this cottage. The property is beautiful. Lovely to hear the birds and view the gardens. It rained most of our trip but we didn’t mind because it was so restorative to hunker down and relax here. Well stocked kitchen. Nice bedding. Close to Brattleboro and easy access to hiking/farms etc. Kathleen was the perfect amount available. We’re sorry we didn’t get to meet you in person!

Chris's place is a beautiful cabin nestled in the woods, with birds singing, beautiful airy feel to the cabin, roomy, lovely second floor, most comfy bed I've ever slept in. Loved the colors - wood, tall glass windows and skylights, dark green comforters and pillow covers. It's up a dirt road, neighbors are far away, so if you don't like remote, this isn't your place. But if you do, it's perfect!

Does the cabin look perfect in the photo? It's better. Does the yard look like the perfect place to forget the rest of the world exists? It is. Are the White Mountains a place that make you feel like the psychological mountains in your life are just a little smaller? They are. We don't have enough good things to say about the Cabin or communicating with Cassouki. It's rare to step into a space that feels like it was designed with intention on every level - from the scents in the air to the textures of the cabin to the quiet confidence in every object's placement. The Conscious Cabin doesn't just reflect a designers eye, it reflects a storyteller's heart. I've stayed in more than a few retreats, but this is the first one that felt like it had something to say--and somehow said it quietly enough to let us hear ourselves again. Stay here.

Super cute area, definitely an authentic rural Vermont stay. Made us feel right at home in the nature. Outhouse made for an interesting new experience, but overall great get away.

This cabin was such a dream. Tucked away in the woods, it gave us the perfect mix of peace, nature, and comfort. Everything was clean and so well equipped. it had everything we needed and more, which made our stay super easy and relaxing. My boyfriend and I really appreciated the quiet, peaceful, cozy vibe. We felt completely at home and could just unplug and enjoy the moment we spent our time playing board games, sipping coffee in the garden or making dinner together in the cute little kitchen. Emily was an absolute pleasure: very kind and thoughtful, and great to talk to. You can tell she really cares about the space and the people who stay in it. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and already dreaming of coming back.

This is my third stay with Stacey at the Just Be cabin and it’s always lovely. It’s a simple, clean, quiet spot that’s perfect for recharging in the evenings during a working weekend with lots of people-ing! The wood stove was a luxurious amenity on my latest, chilly trip!!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate my birthday and we felt right at home. It was so cozy, the walk down to the brook was magical and we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again in the future! Also the queen bed was very comfy!

My kids and I had a fantastic time. Julie was nice and left very clear instructions for everything that was needed. Great location that put you right in between the ski resorts and the town of Conway, which has lovely shops and food options. A truly magical experience to live in the trees. Igor’s place was a warm and cozy place actually nestled amongst the trees. Any view looked out into the trees and even on a rainy weekend, we enjoyed the sounds, the smells, and all the nature that surrounded us. We even got to use the wood stove which helped keep the chill outside. (Thank goodness all those skills came back to me from childhood) Thank you so much for hosting us and we highly recommend to all.

We fell in love with this cabin! It is even better than the photos, immaculately clean, totally private, and stocked with all of the necessities. This was the perfect weekend getaway to celebrate our anniversary and we hope to stay here again ASAP. Michele is a wonderful host!

Beautiful, quiet setting, lovely furniture, all the amenities. Clean and comfortable, and a short drive to shops, restaurants, and hiking trails.
