Beautiful and charming place up the mountain which allows you to rewind and reset. The team was helpful and made sure we enjoy our stay

It was a renovated old house, and the water areas, rooms, toilets, etc. were clean and very easy to use.This time, 2 of us used it, but it was large enough, and I would like to stay with a large number of people this time. The owner was very kind, cheerful and friendly, and was very helpful.There are some insects, but the insect repellent in the facilities can handle them, which is proof that it is an environment where you can enjoy nature.

I had an absolutely wonderful two nights at Sonoco's place, which is right in the centre of the old town of Iwamura. I was the only guest at the property, which was spacious and super clean with a lot of lovely details that characterise a traditional Japanese home. It was also really nice and quiet at night. Sonoko made sure I was comfortable and gave me lots of tips for what to see and where to eat. Sonoko was the kindest hostess and I would wholeheartedly recommend her place to anyone. If you are staying here at the weekend, also make sure you get a coffee from cafe Sumire, which is only two doors down from Sonoko's place.
