Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Nea Makri

Tayiap’s place was perfect for us for our 1 night stay. The house was so clean, there was also some pasta, sauce and fruit for us to enjoy when we arrived after a late flight, so thoughtful. The beds were really comfortable and the air conditioning worked really well. Thank you for a lovely stay.

This is a unique place with a lot of history. The kitchen cute and spacious. The porch is the best part of the house. We saw sunrise and sunset. Beautiful. I love the view from the bedroom. The hospitality made our stay easy and fun. Panos helped us get drivers and gave us directions and restaurant reviews.

The solid internet connectivity (rare in Greek Airbnbs) and newish mini-split air conditioning units together with the convenient access to the sea for swimming and a nice view make this a great place for a digital nomad to hide out for a few weeks. The unit is large (we only needed the main house—there’s another bedroom and bathroom in the back), in good repair, and offers lots of privacy and quiet. Dimitris is also a great host. We will be back soon :-)

The house is literally right at the water. The final drive down to the house is extremely steep, and with a larger vehicle it was a challenge to turn the car around. We became pros at this about halfway through our 15-night stay!! With only three of us in the house, we had plenty of room. We thoroughly enjoyed the two living rooms (first and second levels). We also enjoyed the multiple decks to sit out and enjoy the water sounds. We used the outside table by the pool a few times and appreciated the extra shade provided by the electric awning. The pool was a bit cold for us, but we did use it. The lichen had everything we needed, which we appreciated. The house far exceeded our expectations!! Rania was very helpful, as she provided great suggestions for restaurants, activities, etc.

Georgia was a lovely host who was very responsive and kind, and helped out when needed. The bed was clean and comfortable, clean bathroom, beautiful outside as well. My only small thing was the location was very "inner-city" so I would just be vigilant at night, but at no time did I feel unsafe. Would recommend to anyone who needs a night or 2 close to Athens airport!

Beautiful apartment convenient to Athens International Airport. Worked great for a last night in Greece after returning from the countryside (or islands) before flying out the next morning.

Very nice place, apartment very well furnished, especially the kitchen. Close access to a beautiful beach. Beautiful view and sunrises in the morning. Car necessary and it takes care of everything. Marios very nice in contact and helpful. We recommend the place, Worth the price.

If you are looking for a nice place to relax before your flight out, this is the place to be. Incredibly welcoming atmosphere, with close proximity to markets, restaurants, the beach, and a 10 minute drive to the airport. We were greeted by the hosts who helped us with every question we had and were very attentive to making our stay the best experience possible. It was a great place to end our stay in Greece and would highly recommend you book your stay here. Couldn’t thank the hosts enough for their hospitality.

We loved the views and the home, gorgeous!!! Be aware that you need to walk luggage up 2 flights of stairs, worth the effort! Small items like shampoo and cream rinse would be a welcome addition. Also, this sleeps max 4 people, if 2 people share a bed. The bathroom and shower are beautiful. The deck is a once in a lifetime view. The restaurants in the neighborhood are gorgeous, but it’s good to know that the nightclubs go until 3am.

A lovely apartment ideally situated near the port and the restaurants of Rafina. The space was very clean, with distinctive and artistic decor that added a unique charm. We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay and will certainly choose to return the next time we are in Rafina.

Filippo’s place was perfect for our overnight stay. It is a great spot for escaping the business of Athens, there are some great restaurants close by, and it’s only 10 minutes from the airport. Filippo was very responsive and gave great recommendations for food and the homemade cake left for us was a great treat. Overall, great stay if you are looking for something more secluded as it is about an hours drive from the main attractions.

Alexandros was very attentive and responsive. He was quick to reply for any questions I had. Loved his apartment. Great location and very quiet. We were in a great location in Plaka district and close to everything. We were any easy walk to the Acropolis Museum and so many excellent restaurants and shops. We liked it so well that we are coming back at the end of our vacation to stay in Alexandros apartment once again. Thank you Alexandros!

This apartment was everything our family of four hoped for and more! It was in a great location, with so many attractions and restaurants within just a few minutes walk. The host was helpful and responsive. And the view, including from both the apartment itself and the rooftop deck, was absolutely incredible! I would highly recommend this apartment to any group looking for a memorable stay in central Athens! Bravo!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb in Athens! From the moment we arrived, our host was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. She struck the perfect balance of being available whenever we needed help, yet always respecting our privacy, something we truly appreciated. The apartment itself was stunning, tastefully decorated, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. One of the highlights was definitely the pool, which we had the pleasure of enjoying throughout our stay. It felt like our own little oasis in the city. Another thoughtful touch was the welcome basket, such attention to detail! It was clear that a lot of care and consideration went into making our stay special. And a special thank you to our host for being so patient and kind when we (more than once!) forgot our keys. She never made us feel like a burden and always helped with a smile. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. We can’t recommend it highly enough ❤️

Me and my friend loved our week here. Before we had even arrived Anna was helpful and quick to respond to any questions, she helped bus a taxi from the airport straight to the airport (and the same when we were travelling home), and even let us access the apartment earlier than 3pm to drop bags off! Artemida is a lovely location, beautiful beaches and great restaurants just on the doorstep. There’s little convenience stores round the corner, or a My Marker (a bigger supermarket) only 10 minutes walk away, which we found had everything we needed when getting some food in for our stay. The apartment is also above a cafe and a pharmacy. We loved having both balconies to enjoy the sea and watch the sun set/rise. The public transport is easy to navigate too, we had a day in Athens by getting the bus and the train! Overall, a lovely mix of city and sea and by the end of the week we wished we had more time :)

Finest Airbnb I have ever stayed in. Actually, it's hard to compare with other Airbnbs because this was such a cut above. Views of the Acropolis from almost every part of the two story unit. 10 mins from the best dining and the Acropolis museum. Very private and safe even when entirely open to Athens as both floors open to the outside with extensive outdoor areas on both floors. Very, very clean, high end Euro design and top notch technology and everything easy to use. My family and I were blown away. Lastly we chose the daily breakfast delivery. Made the day start just right.

This is a beautiful apartment with awesome view of the sea. Very spacious living room and gorgeous balcony. The facilities are quite user friendly. We got everything we need for travel lodge. The location is close to the beach. Good place to talk a little walk. It's also a very nice neighborhood for quality dining and grocery shopping. Transportation is convenient. Take 10-15 minutes taxi drive to Akropoly and Piraeus habor. We would highly recommend this one!

Marilena is a person who cares about her guests. She does everything to make sure we have a nice stay. Both in the communication, recommendations and service it offers. Thanks also to the locals for always greeting us with a smile. We were able to do everything we wanted (walking, beach, visiting Athens, eating, swimming, sunbathing, etc.).

Great apartment, clean, , it has everything i could possibly need, did laundry in the apartment so I could reuse my stuff. Also has great kitchen so I cooked myself food, there's. Supermarket nearby. Stelios is a great guy, very helpful, gave a lot of good suggestions about places nearby, and he helped me find my next apartment with good prices
