Relax with the whole family in this peaceful home. You live on a farm with sheep in the gardens and the forest close by. On the property, there is a cat and in the beehive bin. In the forest there are paths and in late summer there is a lot of mushroom and also carries. The gravel road takes you to a small community. 3 km away, where there is a grocery store, a swimming lake and public transport. By car it is 15-20 minutes to Vetlanda, Eksjö and Nässjö. If you go for an hour, you'll come to Astrid Lindgren's world.

Here the noise level is quiet, it smells of forest and the air is clean. If you're looking for a place to unwind, you've found the right place. The house is built of wood from the same forest as the house stands in and the insulation is shavings from the floors and walls. For us, it's organic and local important to take care of.

The house has 8 bedrooms with a total of 16 beds, extra children's room with 3 more beds. 3 fully tiled bathrooms with shower and toilet, large dining room with room for 20 people, fully equipped kitchen, 2 dishwashers, 2 living rooms both with TVs, 2 terraces and one large balcony, 2 fireplaces. There are bicycles to rent and book 48 hours in advance.

It offers a simple but cozy summer accommodation with room for an optimal 4 people, but it can accommodate more. Includes: fitted kitchen, toilet, shower and sauna cabin, washing machine, 1 double bed for 2 persons, 1 bunk bed for 2 persons/child and a cosy garden with outdoor furniture and barbecue. Access to private bathing area with jetty, open fireplace and boat.

Welcome to Älmesås! You will stay in your own little house on our farm. Within ten swedish miles you will reach Astrid Lindgrens Värld, Kosta Boda, High Chaparall among other nice places. You will stay in a very calm and quiet environment. If you take a walk, perhaps you will meet our nice Highland Cattles. You also can spend some time together with our bunny , four cats and the goats Iris, Diesel and texas. Perhaps you can get eggs from the chickens. The rooster Charlie says "Good morning"!

Tranquil, renovated cottage in Småland

If you’re looking for peace and quiet and disconnecting for a while, our little cottage is the place to be. Our little oasis is located in the middle of the forest, at the end of the road – here nobody will disturb you. The house itself originates back to the 17th century, had a major renovation in the 70’s, and recently had a total makeover of the upper floor. I’m the fourth generation that recently took over and use it as a summer house, and from 2024 on renting it out when we’re not here.

Newly built accommodation in a rural location, with horses, chickens and other animals just around the corner. At Bengtsgården, we rent out a small attic apartment that is fully equipped with, among other things, a dishwasher, washing machine, Wi-Fi, charger for electric car and balcony in a sunny location. It offers a quiet and peaceful accommodation with the forest right next door, but still close to the Vetlanda urban area, about 4 km away.
