We had a wonderful stay at Pubudu 's place . Our caretaker - Bala made every effort to provide us a comfortable and relaxing stay. He is well aware about his boundaries and knows when we need our privacy and his assistance. The accommodation is located in a hilltop with a great view . If you wish to stay there, take everything with you since the nearest township is located at the downhills.

Kevin, the chef, is exceptional every meal was tailored to our tastes, from delicious Sri Lankan dishes to international favourites. Kapilla, our butler, was attentive and always one step ahead, anticipating every need. Milan, the manager, was our go-to for anything, and Chandra, the housekeeper, kept everything spotless with a smile. Every person made us feel truly cared for. This wasn’t just a stay, it was a heartfelt experience we’ll never forget.

Sandalwood is a beautiful villa with a stunning view. The house and the interiors are modern and tasteful. The infinity pool overlooking the river and the mountains is superb. The staff is very gentle and proactive. Leslie prepare fresh breakfast and cook excellent dinner. Kumara is taking care about the house as if it was her property and perform perfect laundry service. Very interesting the Victoria golf club’s history and how this beautiful project run by big Sri Lankan’s company help the local community.

A spacious living area features a cozy sectional sofa with yellow cushions, positioned next to a natural stone fireplace. Large windows allow ample light, reflecting off the polished wooden floor. The staircase, made of rich wood, leads to the upper level.

Hashitha was a perfect host. Check in was quick and professional, but also personable. My host was in easy reach, if needed, but I was allowed my privacy. The whole experience was brilliantly enhanced, by being able to sit on the veranda and take in the fabulous gardens. All in all an experience to hold fond memories of.
