Picturesque location for this homely cottage. Outstanding communication from Mitia and Klemen. Our every need was met by the cottage, village and hosts. Could not recommend this area more for nature lovers and star gazers. We had a beautiful week stay here and would definitely come back here. Thank you again Mitia and Klemen, you were both fantastic.

This is a gem. Large cabin, quiet, clean, easy walking distance to town, local trails, incredible view of mountains.

Lovely place to stay. Beautiful views. The house is peaceful and clean. A few items to note: the bedroom is up steep stairs. So, if you have trouble with stairs you should keep this in mind. Also, the bathroom is downstairs so nighttime bathroom trips mean navigating the steep stairs to go to the bathroom. The second item to note is the windows. Nearly all windows are old and do not Kipp (tilt) for air flow. On a windy day the windows will not stay open, instead slamming. I ended up mostly ventilating with the doors, which also needed stops to keep from loudly slamming. Thankfully, it wasn’t too hot in early June so the house didn’t require much ventilation. Probably not ideal in hotter months.

We stayed with Alen and his adorable family for 3 nights. Alen greeted us personally and directly gave us tips on what to do in the region. The hike to the nearby cabin (ceska koca) was an absolute highlight! Right behind the house is a small supermarket where you can find everything you need. The place has several good restaurants, one of which even has a mention in the Michelin Guide. (Attention: the kitchens of almost all restaurants close here at 8 pm!) Breakfast is lovingly prepared and Alen's son personally accepted our coffee order every morning. If we were to be in the area again, we would definitely stay at the place again!
