Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Municipality of Gorenja Vas-Poljane

Zoran's place is a great place to stay if you have a car and want to explore Slovenia. The flat was well equipped, and suited our needs. Within two hours driving through stunning countryside we were able to access white water rafting at Bovec and spent a day at Lakes Bohinj and Bled. We also had a day at Predjama castle and the Postojna caves and another at the Lipica Stud and the coast. Ljubliana airport is only an hour and a half away. Idrija itself was only 15 minutes away and has an interesting history of Mercury mining and Lace making and there are many walking trails from the door.

Beautiful house in beautiful, quiet surroundings with its own stream in the garden. The drive is a bit adventurous over a serpentine road, but easily accessible. We felt very comfortable.

Brian’s place is as described. It’s very close to Bohinj lake and tourist info centre, yet quiet and private. Great views from the villa and very accessible to most must see places in Bohinj. We were there 5 nights and felt at home. It’s great value especially for a large family as there are 3 rooms upstairs, 2 with queen size beds and 1 room with 2 single beds. Highly recommend!

Wow wow wow! What an incredible stay with incredibly helpful, kind, friendly hosts. This was such a lovely “destination” stay, a way to experience rural Slovenian living and culture. It’s a bit of a drive from the city, but well worth it for the stay and experience. Thank you and hvala!

A great apartment in the most amazing location - highly recommend using the local station car railway to visit Bled!! The apartment was as described with a wonderful welcome pack with amazing homemade Lavender Lemonade. We’ll be back!!

We spent five wonderful days in this house nestled in the Slovenian countryside. A true haven of peace! Everything was perfectly clean, well-equipped, and above all… what tranquility! Gasper was a caring, discreet and above all very responsive host: as soon as we needed him, he responded quickly and efficiently. Special mention for access through the forest (GPS mandatory, but the change of scenery is guaranteed!). We would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a real break from the hustle and bustle. Amazing stay, very cozy home for a family trip, short drive to beautiful hikes, walking distance to a nice meadow nearby if you have a dog. Squeaky clean place, it felt like no one else stayed there before us. Kitchen has everything to cook literally anything. Comfortable beds, nice shower, small but cozy backyard. We cooked dinner outside all nights - grill has all amenities. Thank you!

The contact with Veronika is great. A few days before arrival, she sent restaurant tips and arrival information. You can communicate with her in German. She is not on site, but always available for questions and responds quickly. The house is sparkling clean and modernized. We felt very comfortable. Bathrooms, kitchen, beds, everything clean, fresh and great. You can sit and eat well in the garden. The old town is in walking distance. Ljubljana in 30 minutes, as well as Bled. We had our dog with us. Perhaps it is helpful to know that the garden is open to the street. It is quiet and not very busy, but a long leash for curious dogs makes sense. We would spend our vacation with Veronika again anytime.

We had a wonderful stay at Ali’s apartment! The space was very spacious and perfect for our family with kids. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Ali was an excellent host—very responsive and extremely helpful throughout our stay. The location was ideal, just a 10-minute from Lake Bohinj, with several beautiful hikes and local walks starting right from the house. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

We had a great time in Skofja Loka. The place is very spacious and modern especially the kitchen and living space. It is located close enough to tourist sites like Lake Bled and Ljubliana, but we would have been a little lost without a car (train station 15-20 minute walk from the house). However if you want a relaxed trip with outstanding views its perfect. Thanks for a great stay!

Unfortunately, we were only there for one night. The apartment is beautiful and everything is available. Franzi and Darja are very nice and welcomed us superbly. Franzi even prepared the grill for us. Highly recommended!

Perfectly located, quiet accommodation with shops within walking distance. The accommodation is very well equipped with a terrace that is very nice. Communication went very well with Frank who is available and pleasant. Lake Bohinjsko Jezero is a 10-minute drive away. Many hikes on foot or by bike are possible.

Alenka's place is a gem, wonderful views, peaceful area, shops and restaurants nearby, very unique interior style. On top of that very smooth check in and Alenka is very helpful and responsive guest, totally recommend! :)

We had a very pleasant stay. There were many facilities available, spacious apartment. Bev and Tom responded quickly and gave a lot of tips. In the town itself there is not much to do, but it is a good base to discover the northwest of Slovenia.

Lovely house in a beautiful location! Peace and opportunity for a variety of activities, ideal for two families and children of all ages. Communication with Manca was impeccable. We had a great few days with Igor. We've never had such a perfectly equipped apartment, nothing was missing. The views over the mountains is a dream come true. The apartment is beautiful, great location for hiking and climbing. Igor was always directly available for questions and gave us great tips. We felt super comfortable and will definitely come back!

A beautiful accommodation in a beautiful area. We were satisfied with everything. The sauna heated up super quickly, and extra essential oils were provided. Everything was prepared for grilling , I can only recommend it to everyone!

We had a fantastic family time in Kriz at the Villa. Katjusa was very welcoming and the wine tasting as well as the fantastic surroundings were truly memorable! A warm recommendation for everyone who wants to experience southern Slovenia at its best!

A great house for a group of friends but would be great for families too as there is a twin room off one of the double bedrooms. Walkable from beautiful Lake Bled and all it has to offer. A lovely house and recently renovated. Responsive hosts and made some good local recommendations.
