Private room+bath, fab rural views, near Killarney

Debbie was a super welcoming host. Super reactive and flexible, she answered quickly when we sent her messages the day before our arrival to coordinate, and shared good recommendations of what to do in town and in the surroundings. We had lots of privacy in the room. It’s perfect for anyone who does not need access to a kitchen (we did not need it), and she provided fruits and snacks which helped us get a bit of fuel in the morning while we looked for a place to grab breakfast. We liked the tranquility of being removed from the middle of the town (we could hear the sheep in the evening with a beautiful sunset - quite a view!). She has multiple animals (as clearly described in her posting) but they were all super lovely and did not disturb us at all. I’m allergic to both cats and dogs and did not feel any allergies while being there which is a testimony of how clean the room was! Thanks so much Debbie, it was lovely to meet you and we hope our paths cross again!

An ancient stone castle stands amidst a cemetery, surrounded by lush greenery and mature trees. The structure showcases a mixture of architectural elements, with turrets and spires visible against a partly cloudy sky. Gravestones of various shapes and sizes are scattered across the grassy landscape.

We spent 2 nights at Hannah's, it was really great! Hannah is the most welcoming host we met during our trip. She will make you feel at ease in the house, give you good tips for visiting the area. She took great care of us, it was perfect!

Juliann's B&B - Double Room ensuite / B'fast incl

KelsyeRating, 5 stars1 day ago
This is a wonderful bucolic spot in the countryside of Killarney. Juliann creates a warm and inviting home away from home. The home is set in farmland with views of a magnificent sunset. Breakfast was delightful and after she saw us eyeing the scones, she sent us along with some for our hike on the Kerry Way.

The place was as described. It was quiet, yet very central. The bed was very large and comfortable. There were plenty of pillows. On the desk was a very well-filled breakfast basket with various treats, such as porridge, bananas, croissants and bars. Nice contact.
