Lovely Lahardane 2bed 1 bath cottage

KimRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Loved loved loved this little gem! Peaceful and bucolic, but with all the modern amenities you need to be comfortable. Anthony was a wonderful host. He was proactive and responsive, when we had a minor issue it was dealt with immediately, even though it was a Sunday night. Thank you Anthony! The location is amazing, easy access to the rest of Mayo. And of course, close to Leonards the gorgeous local pub where we were made to feel right at home.

The Hideaway

MalcolmRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Kathy was very prompt dealing with the booking and both the description and photos of the accommodation were also excellent. We arrived and were invited to an impromptu barbeque with some of Kathy's and Gerry's friends, which was most welcome. The location is excellent, private and within easy reach of the centre of Ballina, the Hideaway is extremely clean and the beds are very comfortable, there were some useful food provisions provided and it is highly recommended.
A rugged coastal landscape shows a large rock formation with a deep opening filled by churning sea water. Lush green grass and wildflowers surround the rocky edge, enhancing the natural beauty of the scene. Waves can be seen crashing against the rocks below.

Cairn House

CarrieRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We had a great stay in this large, comfortable, spotless house near the sea in North Mayo. Carina and co. made us so welcome. She even had the stove lighting for us on arrival as it was such a bad evening. She supplied tea, coffee and cake for us and offered help at all times but without ever being intrusive. We loved the combination of the very quiet venue but with shop and pub/restaurant only 2km away. Not sure if I'd swim at the nearest beach but loved to walk and let the dogs run there in the mornings. So much beauty and history in this area. Highly recommended.

Bohans Barn

RachelRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Myself and my husband booked Bohans Barn for our 10th Wedding anniversary in August as a little romantic getaway. The house was just outstanding, we really enjoyed the peace and quiet and the privacy. Having breakfast in the garden looking out over the fields, watching the beautiful horses in the morning mist and the wild deer in the evening sunlight was just magical. In the evening we would light a fire in the kitchen whilst making dinner, then retreat to the lounge in front of the fire and listen to records, it was the life you always want to lead but are always too busy to do so back at home. The house was spotless, 3 excellent bedrooms with huge comfy beds, excellent heating, clean bathrooms and stunning views from every angle. There is so much to do in the local area we couldn't fit it all in. Ballycroy national Park has several wonderful hikes, the purple loop was best in my opinion. Try the seaweed baths at the ice house balinia, very nice. Ceide fields is a must as is Achill

The Old Cow Byre

PhilRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Chris is absolutely class! He’s an extremely friendly host, we chatted for a while and he gave great recommendations and made sure we felt right at home. The place was excellent, Brian the dog alone makes the place worth it - add in the peaceful surroundings and cozy cabin and it’s absolutely a place we will be coming back to! Thanks Chris!

Kilcummin Coastal View

ClareRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We spent a wonderful family reunion at Di’s house which was perfect for everyone with plenty of space. Beautiful views and so peaceful. Very tastefully decorated & furnished. Marvellous kitchen - we cooked both nights and it was easy - lovely big cooker & fridge! Comfy beds which we enjoyed after swimming at the breathtaking beach just round the corner along with a few pints in Bessie’s Bar. Can thoroughly recommend this lovely house …… you won’t be disappointed
