Recharge your batteries at this unique and tranquil stay. 25 minutes drive from Tromsø, a small village called Skulsfjord you will find this cozy little house by the sea. Amazing views and a quiet area where you can enjoy idyllic mountains and natural surroundings. The Northern Lights season is from September to April. If there is clear weather, it will dance in the sky directly from the living room window. Many unique hiking destinations on foot and by boat that the host can inform about if needed and have maps available in the house.

Here you can sit inside the living room or on the balcony and enjoy the incredible view, and the northern lights. Perfect northern lights conditions since the home is closest to the sea, with no other houses or lights that are in the way.

Our modern, well-equipped home sits right by the sea with breathtaking mountain views, surrounded by pristine Arctic nature. Spot reindeer, otters, moose, or even whales, and watch the Northern Lights from the porch. Steps away, enjoy a panoramic sauna by the water. A traditional BBQ hut is available as an optional rental. This is our beloved home, and many guests tell us they fall in love with it too. Few places blend comfort and wilderness like this. We never tire of it—and hope you will, too.

Guesthouse Tromsø

A great place to see the Northern Lights, even from your own bed. Outdoor campfire site and gazebo available (possibility to buy more firewood). You can snowshoe or hike right behind the house. The house is located in the same yard as the main house. All this only 20 minutes from the airport and the city. The center is about 10 km Free parking. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. Spectacular new build house (2018) in a lovely, quiet area with a beautiful view to the fjord/sea, mountains and forest in Kvaløya /Tromsø. You can watch the beautiful northern light / aurora borealis from the huge window (10 sqm), sitting in the living room with a cup of tea or coffee in your hand:-) This is a perfect place for tourists who wants to see the northern light, whales in the fjord at winter, hiking/ skiing in the mountains or everything else you want in this lovely city.
