Vacation rentals with lake access in Mount Pisa

Vicki and Dan are superb hosts. They are so proactive and helpful. They showed how much they cared about us having a great stay by their excellent communication. This home is decorated so well, and each detail is stunning. They have built much of the decor and it is so beautiful. They had the fire lit for us when we got there, which was such a great touch. The house was well stocked, and well maintained. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The bedrooms were very comfortable and very nice. The hot tub was enjoyable, and the neighborhood was peaceful. We truly appreciated our stay. Thanks for sharing your home with us and for sharing your beautiful corner of the world!

Fantastic host.. The washing machine and dryer is great so we can have our clothes washed. The kitchen is fully equipped. Even the condiments for cooking. The location is very convenient. 5mins drive and there are lots of restaurants. Linda has also recommended the restaurants and Kika is really good. Linda is always prompt in her response. Highly recommend her place!

This crib is all about the view which is clearly spectacular. No other reviews have referenced the property’s layout which I will do here - not as a criticism, but as an observation so that folks can take same into consideration. The property has 2 bedrooms - however they are effectively joined (wth a small ante room in between) meaning that the second bedroom can only be accessed via the first bedroom. This arrangement is certainly noted in the property description; however it’s not apparent from the photos. Folks may need to take this arrangement into account, depending on who they’re sharing with, noting that the occupant of the second bedroom needs to pass through the first bedroom to access the bathroom. My sister and I very much enjoyed our stay & everything the property and surrounds had to offer! Thanks Fiona!

Jimmy was a very thoughtful and responsive host . The house was very comfortable with stunning views. The setting opposite the lake is beautiful, and a great base for exploring other areas of interest around Queenstown. We’d highly recommend Jimmy’s place.

The location of this home in Kingston is just breathtaking. The lake, the mountains, the quaint little town -- all of it is perfect. It is a 45-ish minute drive from Queenstown, but that was a plus for us as we had day trips planned to Milford Sound and Invercargill. Plus, the drive to Queenstown is so beautiful. The house was very clean and cozy. We made ample use of the washing machine (which conveniently has a dryer option as well). I would highly recommend a stay at Ian's.

Picture perfect view of the lake and mountains. Quiet restful setting. Well equipped kitchen and good functional appliances. Easy walk to a tramping tracks. Nice shower and fabulous tank water, no chlorine or fluoride The only reason we wouldn't come back is the low ceiling height for my 6ft 2" husband who had to lower himself every time he used the stairs. Both bedrooms are upstairs, the bathroom is downstairs. The house rattled in the strong winds so ear plugs are a good idea if staying in the second bedroom. I highly recommend this place, but do your shopping enroute as the local supplies are limited.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Queenstown! The panoramic views were breathtaking, and the location was ideal to explore Queenstown and the surrounding area. The house was spotless, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Queenstown. It truly is a traveler's haven! We enjoyed our staying at this lovely, cozy and well prepared place. The house is beautiful and the kitchen is organised perfect and easy to use. The location to the town centre is great only 5 mins taking to pretty all of restaurants and marts. Definitely recommend this place.

Had such a lovely stay! The place was perfect - super clean and tidy and very comfortable and cosy. Location was close to the lake and only a short drive to town. Hosts were so lovely and left great instructions and local recommendations which was much appreciated 😊

The best Airbnb stay we have had to date! Such a beautiful property right on the lake with water views. The property has access to the Queenstown trail that takes you directly to Queenstown and connects to many other beautiful trails that you can walk/bike. The property is exactly as described but the photos do not do it justice - we will definitely be back!

The place has a balcony that faces Lake Wakatipu. Great views. I managed to capture few pictures of southern light from the balcony. The place is near to alot places. My family loved the place. i really recommend this place.

My partner and I spent a few days here for our first trip to Queenstown and it was absolutely perfect, we loved our stay! The apartment itself is tidy and cosy and the view of the lake is beautiful and even better than the photos 😍 Kirsty was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed as well as providing some great local recommendations including a scenic walk into town, which we loved doing every day. We would stay here again and 100% recommend!

the place was exceptional! Ray was so friendly, kind and quick to respond. even with the last-minute request, we were allowed to check in earlier which was super helpful. 120% recommended!

It is a really lovely place, more than my expectation. We indeed felt like home. It is very clean, and most of the things you need are provided. The place are very cosy too. The location is just perfect, very walkable to the center, and also just next to the track trail start point. The view infront of the window is just amazing! we really enjoyed this place. if there is chance to come back again, I will choose this place again. Dawn is very responsive too. Easy to communicate. Overall, it is a wonderful stay experience!

We loved our time here. Each night it felt like we were coming back home. It was so easy to relax after a day exploring. We chose this location because it fit well into our itinerary and we are so glad that we did.

Adorable and cozy cottage. Had everything we needed and we loved having a fireplace when it was getting cold outside. The beds are super comfy and the shower has incredible pressure. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful home, so lovely to have the fire set. Ready to be lit on arrival . Ideal location for my daughter’s wedding. The host was fantastic, easy to deal with. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend the Vulcan hotel for meals and drinks.

Location was the stand out! 10-15 mins walk for central Queenstown. Cosy, plenty of parking and all amenities were great. Would stay here again when we’re back in Queenstown!

We had another fantastic stay with Ray and Deb in Cromwell, our second time staying with them while in town for an agility show. Their house is in a perfect spot, just a 10-minute walk to the Stoaker Room for dinner, and close to many walkways leading to the lake. The accommodation is always clean and comfortable, with beds that guarantee a great night's sleep and everything we need to feel at home. Deb is absolutely lovely and makes us feel so welcome every time. It's the little things that make such a difference, and their place has truly become our favourite spot to stay in Cromwell. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Lovely place with an incredible view! So spacious and everything was clean and as described. Felt like home away from home. Very close to nearby cycling track. Could easily cycle into town in 5 minutes.
