Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Mount Maunganui

Very comfortable and had everything we needed. The area was beautiful and it was good to have parking. The beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious.

We enjoyed our stay at Saskia's place, it felt homely and well set out. The kids really enjoyed the different levels and bedrooms and there was everything we needed, especially the espresso machine! Overall we had a great stay

This is the best airbnb we have stayed at. It is very clean, has a fully fitted out kitchen if you want to cook, comfortable beds, perfect for a family. Very quiet neighbourhood and we would highly recommend it to everyone.

Great place for our family long weekend away. Everyone enjoyed, including the dogs with the beach just across the road/reserve. “Beautiful Papamoa Beach”. Supermarket and some local shops all very handy. Great size kitchen and bathrooms. Everything we needed was there and Sara replied promptly in all communications. Attention to detail was great. Nothing to fault on this home. Big, beautiful and in a pristine location. It’s across the road from the beach which made our stay extra special. Christine and family were very accommodating and even left little goodies for our kids on arrival. They went down a treat after a long drive down from Auckland. Would highly recommend!

Danielle’s home was immaculate, peaceful and way bigger than the photos make the house look! There was plenty of space to lounge around and the swimming pool and well kept grounds were an added bonus.

Our stay in Waihi Beach was exceptional. We loved the area and our host. The apartment was just as beautiful as shown. You could hear the ocean from the apartment. Thank you Campbell and Julie for wonderful hospitality.

Tastefully-decorated, self-contained unit (19 steps up) in a large home right on the water. Great view. Short walk to restaurants and groceries. Very nice and helpful hosts. The best part for us was they have a tandem kayak and direct access to the estuary. We had wonderful 3-hour kayak rides passing mangroves up the meandering river at the end of the bay.

Upon our arrival, Loretta & Brian kindly provided us with the classic kiwi dip - a tin of reduced cream & Maggi onion soup, a packet of Bluebird potato chips, jet planes and easter eggs for our whānau which went down a treat! The location of this unit is fantastic, just a short stroll to the beach, cafes and restaurants. The unit has everything you need and is well furnished with adequate amenities for your stay. We had a great stay - thank you so much!

This place is absolutely INCREDIBLE! I can't recommend it enough. We booked it for a night for a hens party and the look on guests faces when they arrived was priceless. Such a hidden gem in Katikati, and well worth the drive there if you are considering staying. The house was spectacular and so accommodating to a large group of people, with a lovely courtyard for outdoor activities. The little cottages were also a lovely surprise for guests and so well maintained. Laura's communication was also excellent. I would love to visit again one day. . . and stay for a week!

Great to deal with the host, just everything was perfect. Flexible check in and check out process with great communication. The place was spotless and beds are very comfortable. One of the best air bnb places that we ever tried. We will definitely come back again.

The Villa is super stunning and rustic with all and more than needed ammenities. Our group thoroughly enjoyed spending an evening here. Laura was also super helpful and quick with communication and clear instructions. Definitely would love to go back for a longer stay and possibly even make use of the space for events. This is a fabulous place to stay especially for families with a range of ages. It had everything we could wish for. Cindy & Jon were wonderful hosts.

Absolutely perfect! Beautiful gardens. So private and peaceful. Perfect for our group of 8. Graeme and Jenny were so kind and responsive. Loved it!

Really beautiful place to stay, quite close to Hobbiton and Matamata. Nice distance from other houses if you're looking for a more private location. Caren is lovely and really responsive.
