Family-friendly vacation rentals in Motovun

This Airbnb was absolutely beautiful. We loved the surrounding views as much as the attention to detail of this Airbnb. My husband said it's his favorite we've ever stayed in! We really enjoyed our stay so much and would absolutely stay there again. It was so peaceful and relaxing.

Everything perfect! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. From the communication to the location and cleanliness - this accommodation is an absolute dream! Child-friendly equipped with children's dishes/cutlery, elevated pool with gate and a private playground in the garden, everything has been thought of here and implemented with a lot of love for detail. You can tell that it is not just an Airbnb house, but a lot of the owners' passion flows into the care. Even with self-inflicted complications, we were helped immediately and very kindly, which is absolutely not a matter of course. All in all, I can highly recommend this property! Huge thank you to Lucija and her family ♥️

The place is very central, the amphitheater right next door, and quiet. I was very satisfied with the apartment! Jasna was a super hostess as you would like her to be, very warm and helpful!!

We felt very comfortable. We particularly liked the two terraces and the good location in relation to swimming facilities, restaurants and cultural life. There's always something going on in Piran. On the weekend, we were able to experience great live music.

Great location and lovely apartment

The place was in a great location right by the sea Boris was always easy to reach and understanding Check-in was simple and quick The design/equipment is perfect for a seaside vacation.

We had a great vacation in Klaus' fantastically beautiful accommodation. The complex is super well maintained and Klaus was always available. When the water drain in the bathroom was defective, Klaus responded super quickly and sent a craftsman who was very friendly and was able to repair everything directly. Our spontaneous guests were even allowed to spend a night with their camper in the parking lot for free - THANK YOU for that. We'd love to come back and recommend the place!

A small, quiet gem in the middle of a tourist stronghold, away from the hustle and bustle. Milica is a very kind and lovely person. The stay was pure relaxation. Especially great, a private parking space right in front of the apartment. 100% recommendation if you bring peace and enjoy the tranquility. 😊😊👍👍❤️❤️

The location of this place is really wonderful: A wonderful view of the sea and the old town of Piran. In no time at all you are at the harbor, a bakery and a market are also not far away even if you have to climb a few meters in altitude. But the view makes it completely worth it! Communication with Anas' father was extremely pleasant! Very helpful and completely straightforward! We will be happy to come back...

⭐️ 10/10 – Absolutely perfect stay!** Our weekend in Rovinj was fantastic! The apartment was very clean and ideally located: In just 5 minutes on foot you can reach numerous restaurants, cafes and bars. Lada as a hostess was simply great – helpful, friendly and always available for questions. We can 100% recommend this place!

Our stay was great. The house with courtyard is beautiful and very well maintained. We liked the secluded location very much, as we appreciate the peace and quiet. From the accommodation, you can reach the sea in half an hour by car and Trieste or Gorica within an hour. The area offers great landscapes and beautiful old villages. Vinko and his wife are very accommodating and really professional hosts. We highly recommend this place and will definitely spend a vacation there again. Thanks to Vinko! We were guests of Sara in Pula (Valkane) from May 19 to 25, 2025 and had a wonderful stay! Sara is a warm, open host who speaks fluent Italian and English. We had apartment 1, a very clean, lovingly furnished apartment with fully equipped kitchen, two air conditioners and a small balcony. Everything was super well maintained, the toilet and the entire apartment sparkling clean. The view of the sea was fantastic! The location is quiet, with a beautiful garden and even fresh fruits – at the same time, everything you need (supermarket, beach, old town) is quickly accessible. Sara explained everything to us and was very helpful throughout the stay. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely be back. Absolutely recommended!

Villa Elizabeth was wonderful. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, the lovely garden, the pool, the bikes and scooters. A big 10! We will definitely come back!

We stayed here for one week with our 3 kids. The place is beautiful, very quiet yet close to Koper, a animated city (about 10 min by car). It's a good spot to start a trip to one of several beaches (20-30 min), famous caves (30-40 min) or Ljubljana (1h drive) or even hiking in the Triglav area (2h drive). The house itself is very nice, clean and offers everything you need. The kids especially loved the big pool which they could access whenever they wanted. Andreja is very kind and helpful and gave us a lot of great Tips. Thank you very much!

We had a wonderful 2 weeks with our family in this house. Had super nice weather and everything you can think of was present in the house of Natalija and her family. Close to Labin, I think one of the best located places in Istria! We enjoyed the beach in Rabac, good restaurants nearby and from here very exploring Istria, Rovinj, Pula etc. Also seen the plitvice lakes and that is 5 hours up and down but worth it. Had a very nice time! Thank you!

Motovun is a quite enchanting place! We felt very comfortable here and had many excursion destinations nearby, e.g. Porec, Rovinj or Pula. In the vicinity of the accommodation is a small but very well-stocked supermarket, so you can shop for everything you need. In addition, there are great restaurants nearby. The property is spacious and well equipped. The pool is a huge bonus that gave us and our children a great change of pace and cooling off. We felt very comfortable thanks to the nice hosts and would be happy to come back!

We stayed at Villa Aromatica for 1 week and it was fantastic. Bernard and his parents are wonderful hosts and even prepared us a wonderful meal on our last evening with local wine. The Villa is 5 star with very comfortable beds and top quality facilities. The pool and outdoor kitchen are excellent. As a family we like to experience local culture and everyday we did day trips, never driving more than 1 hour. We actually had breakfast in Croatia, lunch in Slovenia and our evening meal in Italy one day. The scenary is breathtaking and the history is unrivaled. Pula, Rovinj, Porec, Motovun, Piran in Slovenia and Trieste in Italy were some of the places we visited. I would recommend Villa Aromatica anytime of year as it offers so much whatever the season.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is a hidden gem. While the original description was a little misleading, suggesting the house is in Rovinj (it is actually in Modrušani, near the small town of Žminj - 20 minute drive to Rovinj), that didn't take anything away from the beauty of the place. The house is tastefully furnished, the kitchen very well equipped and all bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom. The pool area with lounge chairs and umbrellas, as well as the outdoor kitchen were amazing. Thank you Marta for being a great host! We'll be back whenever we get a chance.
