Chalet vacation rentals in Morgan County

What a gem of a place! My young girls enjoyed exploring the yard and going on walks, taking in the gorgeous views. The home is beautiful. We went to Orr’s Farmers Market and had everything we needed in the kitchen to make dinner with what we purchased there. The host provided all the necessary details and getting in and out was smooth.

The home was beautiful with a stunning view of the mountains from the porch. The house was pristine aside from a few bugs in the bathroom. The large living and dining room area comfortably fits 7-8 people. Overall, the accommodations exceeded our expectations. We would definitely go back!

This is my family's third time staying at the Cuckoo Chalet. We really enjoy the location and the amenities -- It has everything we need for a long weekend away from home.

We are so thankful to Jason and his family for sharing their special place with us. We immediately felt right at home and had more than enough room for all 3 adults. We were immediately blown away with the breathtaking river right in the front yard! We never saw anyone else on the river the whole trip so it felt like we had it all to ourselves too. We started our day listening to the river while drinking coffee on their beautiful deck. And, then later in the day, we enjoyed tubing down the river, leaving from a nearby bridge and ending the trip back at the property. I have a service dog, named Charlie, that did everything with us too (including floating down the river) and I think he enjoyed it as much, or more, than we did too. We wish we had made the trip a little longer because we never got a chance to use the hot tub on the deck, or the fire pit, etc. We hope Jason’s family will have us again because we’re already dreaming about coming back again next summer!

Great place! Has everything a family could/would need while on vacation. My family loved everything from the provided games, binoculars for bird/deer viewing, yard games and especially the river and fire pit right next to the river. It’s a beautiful and relaxing place to spend time with family.

We had a wonderful stay at Amy’s place. The location is beautiful (especially when it snows!) and the house was spacious and well taken care of/furnished. Also lots of board games etc available. Amy was also really helpful and proactive, offering to let us leave later on check out day due to a snow storm. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful escape near Harpers Ferry!

We had a great stay. The home was beautiful and incredibly peaceful; it was a great getaway from the city. The kitchen was absolutely gorgeous and stocked with everything we would need to cook. Highly recommend!

The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. Lots of space, stocked kitchen, plenty of games for rainy days and the furniture was cozy and comfortable. We did some hiking- the trails were a bit overgrown (possibly because of how early in the summer we visited) my kids found a box turtle outside near the fire pit- he was a huge hit! They checked on him daily. We had a great time as a family- thanks Katie!

Wonderful Airbnb! Lots of thoughtful touches like slippers at the door, bathrobes for the hot tub, and labeled cupboards full of cookware, as well as beautiful decor and lots to do within a 30 minute drive. But it’s cozy enough you might not want to leave!
