Bungalow vacation rentals in Moorea-Maiao

Traveling on a budget, this is the perfect place on Moorea! Cozy one room bungalow, bathroom separate. Great outdoor sitting area with beautiful view. The beach, right off the deck, is superb. It’s raked daily of tide debris. I spent time napping/ reading in the hammock. I ventured out several times for a swim/ snorkeling. Great snorkeling spot! Kayaks available, but I didn’t use them. I was entertained by stingrays, tiny sharks(totally harmless), and beach crabs close to beach. I even touched the well known stingray that hangs around. The owners pets were a plus for me as I was missing my own. Happy rescued dogs loving head scratches from new people has a special place in my heart. The owners are extremely sweet and helpful with any needs or advice on eating/ to do establishments. To Americans, this would be a slight step up from “ glamping”. I absolutely loved this place. No ac, but breezy and fan kept us comfortable. I’m telling friends visiting about this place planning their trip

We feel so lucky to have found this little bit of paradise on our travels! A stunning property right on the lagoon where you can snorkel and where you can watch amazing sunrises! We stayed in the beautiful big bungalow at The Blue Pineapple. Along with the beauty of the design, it was well stocked with all you may need for an extended stay! However, what really made this an exceptional experience, was the hospitality and good care given us by our host, Virginia! We can’t thank her enough for all she did to make this an amazing stay.! Mauruuru, Virginia! You should count yourself lucky to— lucky indeed— if you have a chance to stay here… We are already planning our return.

Wonderful stay at this AirBnb. Host was there to meet us and was always available and friendly. Loved the home and the grounds. The location was terrific. I highly recommend.

I needed a remote place to just relax and enjoy my time. The bungalow is right at the ocean, very private yard. I was there alone and felt really safe. Beautiful, peaceful… although at nights the ocean is loud - I needed to use my earplugs 😀

This place is like an oasis in an oasis. It is serene welcoming and private. We had a lovely time alone and also meeting Nicolai and Maire which was the absolute bonus part. I feel so lucky to have chosen their place. You will need a car but there is an incredible grocery steps away from their place. I loved it when the concrete gate started opening up and all of a sudden you see this most beautiful garden on the water w an area to launch a kayak to go swimming and snorkeling in the ocean. Loved loved loved it!!!

Very clean accommodation, well-equipped, very nice location, quiet. The on-site restaurant is very convenient and the food is good. Kevin is very available and warm. Recommended property!!

We loved this place. It had everything we needed & short distance to restaurants and grocery stores. Kayak was a PLUS! Moehau was quick to respond to the yard debris smoke from the neighbors. We will definitely share this place with our family and friends. Thanks a bunch!

Great cute place to stay. Garden is amazingly organized with lot of greenery and flowers. As the host recommends, a car is needed to get around the area. Nice beach nearby by walk 10 minutes by car 3 minutes. Roasters start ‘singing’ very early. Host is very helpful and responsive.

Very good stay at Christelle's. She is welcoming and always available even to give very good advice on the island and things to visit. It's full of recommendations. A few small touches, including the fact that we tasted fruit from the garden. The place is as advertised, nothing to report, we didn't want for anything. The neighbors make a little noise but nothing very bothersome because it does not last long. The small bungalow is right next to the guest house but the hosts fully respect your privacy and you will be free to live your life. I fully recommend the accommodation, plus it is quite well located on the island.

What a great place to use as base for further exploration of Moorea. Location is mellow and beautiful. The pool is cherry on the cake.

An atypical home with an open-plan living experience, it was very nice to stay in. The view was really super beautiful, on the lagoon, magnificent. Lots of beautiful wooden things, table, chandelier, handmade. A very nice decoration. A great discovery.

My husband, daughter and I stayed in this lovely bungalow for four days and it was absolutely perfect! It is central and easy to find, and it had everything we could want. We have already talked about how soon we can return! We loved it and highly recommend it!

Prisca is a very kind and hospitable host! From allowing us an early check in to giving us a tour of the property and the beach entry nearby, Prisca was there to answer any questions and give us the ins and outs of everything close to us, we felt safe with all of the friendly family members close by! We are grateful for our stay at this sweet and cozy bungalow. The views of the mountains and the water are incredible and so beautiful! Bug spray is a must!!!!!!!!

Very nice and quiet neighborhood, very clean, the host is nice and helpful I recommend it with all my heart!

Sandra's place was perfect. We really enjoyed the fresh fruit waiting for us in the fridge, the folded towels with the little soaps on the bed, as well as the beach towels available! This really shows his attention to detail and attention to visitors. Easy to find, instructions are clear, and the home is close to everything on Mo'orea. The shower is really superb, the bed very comfortable, the A/C much appreciated. We would definitely recommend.
