Truly a home away from home with hospitality that is unmatched. We were astounded by the this beautiful Airbnb , immaculate and well stocked including a full washer and dryer which was a godsend. It is evident that Josh and Yer pour in their hearts to make their place an oasis of comfort and kindness. They gave the clearest instructions to access the home with helpful photos. They left us snacks, sodas, and coffee and that was such a thoughtful and appreciated gesture. We felt so welcomed. I wish all Airbnb hosts had their proactive care! They set the bar high! Thank you so much for your graciousness. ❤️

The Sun House 2 is amazing! Just outside of town so super quiet, but really quick to pop into town for anything you need (we had a car). The house itself is so cute and provides such a sense of place - from the amazing view to the refined rustic interior, it felt like such a relaxing mountain escape! Evelyn took great care of us and communicated regularly, and she was so kind and genuine. We will be back next time we are in the area!

We loved our stay in Monteverde! Beth & Manolo’s place is so cozy we felt relaxed and at home. The view from the porch is incredible. Beth was super helpful in helping us with directions proactively to find the house safely (as the drive from La Fortuna is an adventure). Zaida greeted us with warm banana bread (as Beth was traveling). Manolo was a great host. We enjoyed a tour through the magical cloud forest with him as well as a night walk through a local reserve. He helped us spot three resplendent quetzal as well as a mom & baby sloth (amongst numerous other treasures). Book this Airbnb if you want to feel comfortable, safe, & enjoy Monteverde!
