Monthly Rentals in Monroe

This was a great cottage to stay in for a weekend getaway with my partner. The space was cozy and had everything we needed: comfy bed, large TV, full size fridge, and kitchen supplies. We wound up buying groceries at food lion (one block away) so we only ate out once during our whole stay. Kitchen utensils included pots and a pan, dishes, a cooking hot plate with space for 2 pans, a coffeemaker, and a toaster. There is no microwave. I brought my own electric hot water kettle to make tea. All in all this was a comfy, great stay, accessible (no stairs), and there is even a Tesla ev charger for anyone that needs it. Highly recommend for 1-2 people for a nice weekend away.

A small group of friends and I stayed at Anne’s place for our best friends wedding. Needless to say, this was the perfect spot. Anne’s place was utterly beautiful and peaceful. The house was so cozy and quaint, the family photos on the wall that depicted the home from a different generation made our stay that much more special. We felt so at home and it was the perfect place to unwind and celebrate our friend. Anne went above and beyond by providing us with fresh eggs, juices, and a variety of other breakfast items. Cooking in the rustic kitchen was hands down our favorite part! 10/10 would recommend staying at Anne’s place!

Brandon’s place was a great stay for two people and two small pets. The place is cozy with helpful long-term amenities. We stayed here for a little over 2 months while moving from out of state and looking for a house. Green flags: 3 bedrooms, pots, pans, pantry space, coffee maker and kureig, smart tv with streaming apps loaded, full and half bath, linens and blankets, off street parking, smart lock on the door, great laundry facilities, pet friendly, cleaning supplies Beige (not red) flags: window A/C only, ceiling fan in only 1 bedroom, tired furniture, not pleasant for long term stays, hard bed (good for some, not us), lack of plugs by the bed, older pans and no spices These are just our thoughts. Everyone’s needs are different. Brandon was super helpful with anything we asked and friendly. He allowed us to use the extra basement space that’s not listed. This was a very pleasant game changer for us.
