Dog & Family Friendly | IU Campus | Fenced Yard

NatalieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We came for my son’s IU graduation and we had a great time. This is the BUSIEST weekend in Bloomington so all reservations are done at least 12 months in advance and every place is overpriced including rentals, hotels, restaurants, etc and you are happy if you can get a vacancy. We booked several months in advance. It was very easy to communicate with Joseph, he is very friendly and responsive. My daughter arrived a bit earlier and checked in the house. She texted me that there was dog hair on the floor and furniture. Since the place is pet friendly, i expected that this might be an issue. Joseph was very resourceful and responsive, he asked someone to come by and clean the floors the same evening. While it was not perfect, I appreciated Joseph’s willingness to fix the issue and resolve it right away.

Charming downtown bungalow

KatherineRating, 5 starstoday
This is a great place to stay. The fenced yard was perfect for my dogs. The private parking was great. Lots of space for everyone. This house is probably over 100 years old and it has so much personality and I love that. Make time to walk up the street to see Rose Hill Cemetery. There are headstones dating back to the early 1800’s, including 2 Revolutionary War veterans. I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again

YOUnique3+ w/Hot Tub - ShortStay

MichaelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
10 out of 10 would recommend!!! this was the perfect end to what was a long day of moving and packing. Out in what seemed like a woodland oasis in a hot tub with the amazing real sounds of nature from the frogs to the birds, just melted way the hard work of the day. Our adult kids thought it was a nice end to their time living in India. so we thank you, Rob, and Tom from the bottom of our hearts for letting us at the last minute crash your pad. the Maenhout Family

1 Sweet Retreat

ChelsieRating, 5 stars5 days ago
A really cozy cabin! My mom and I loved the space and felt very comfortable during our stay. I must mention that there are no anti slip grips on the tub, so be careful in the shower! I also wish there was a little less grit in the bottom of the hot tub, but I understand that can’t always be helped and all other aspects were clean. Overall: wow. We got to spend time in the hot tub, listened for birds on the porch, and enjoyed our short drive to Nashville for shopping and good eats! (Hard Truth Distilling and Ferguson House were faves.) The place was clean and well organized.

Kingfisher Cabin - Getaway

NicoleRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Spent a IU football weekend here while visiting our daughter on campus. Quaint cabin in the woods that met all our needs. Chris’s instructions were very thorough. Only about 14 minutes from campus too. Great hiking in Hoosier national forest that was minutes away. Would be a wonderful place to stay also if you were doing a lake weekend over the summer.

As a school team of 7 we really enjoyed our stay. We appreciated the size of the house with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and it was very comfortable and peaceful. The outlook from the porch was beautiful and we spotted deer! We were able to make two great dinners in the excellent kitchen. Would definitely recommend Whitney's place for a group to stay!

Sunshine Holler Cabin

RebeccaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an amazing stay at Terra’s cabin and will definitely be back again! The LARGE main living area is offset from the bedrooms (downstairs and on the opposite side of the house) which made for the ideal setup for us traveling with little kids - adults could talk and play games at night without worrying about waking kids. The spacious deck was also ideal for large family meals and nice and shady spot to just hang out on during the day. Very secluded but close to some great places to eat and five minutes from the lake/marina. Had everything we needed and Terra was a fantastic and super communicative/responsive host. 10/10!!

The Gardner Chateau

KhanhRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Nick's house was perfect for our family of 6 celebrating my daughter's graduation from IU. The place was very clean and nicely decorated. The yard and front porch and back patio were so peaceful and relaxing for family time. Nick was a responsive host and very flexible with checkout. I would definitely recommend his beautiful home to friends and family.

The Mid-Century Modern "Middle Finger"

Kelly SueRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I left this place absolutely gobsmacked. It really should be listed in a special category within Airbnb because it is a time capsule so exquisitely captured. I personally have always loved farmhouse-modern style houses and appreciated midcentury, but now, having stayed at David's place, I have ABSOLUTE REVERE for the genius and excellence of mid-century design. This house has been so perfectly preserved. Because the wood slats on ceiling are structural, the sound when it rains is like being cocooned in a canvas tent with padding on top. It was so incredibly good for sleeping (in conjunction with the black-out blinds). It rained every night—what a treat! The cove lighting, the fixtures, the furniture...all perfect mid-century iterations. And the sheets and pillows were ridiculously soft. I can't speak highly enough of this place. It really is a gem and a masterpiece. AND!, David was a super attentive and friendly host. I highly recommend.
