The artfully rustic interior furnishings whisk you back to a bygone era as you share a romantic getaway with not a soul in cooee. This cosy retreat features no AC power outlets, no mobile service and no internal plumbing. That said facilities do include flushing toilet, Gas BBQ, potbelly, camp shower & tank water.

With direct access to BP dam, it's an easy stroll down to the water's edge, have a dip to cool off, take out a kayak or even launch the boat. Sit around the fire pit and enjoy the sunset and when night falls the stars come out and its absolutely stunning. Explore around the edges of BP dam to see turtles, countless species of birds and other wildlife. Take a drive around the wineries or the many beautiful small towns surrounding us.

A country getaway on 5 acres. A neat little cottage with 2 bedrooms, and a 3rd bedroom/granny flat if needed 5 acres. Close to wineries in the South Burnett region, with easy getaways to bicycle trails, state forest as well as local townships with lots of local food and delicacies. NOTE: We have had request for families with infants. There is unfenced dam on the property, and we have been advised not the take bookings with infants. No work bookings please, as we have had bad experiences.

It is a quiet location yet close to town and near the rail trail. You can choose to base yourself here to explore the area or just chill out on the verandah with a good book, a glass of local wine, enjoying the view. Some guests stay while on short term work assignments. 2 pm checkout on Sundays for weekend bookings
