This cozy three-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom home is conveniently located in Petersburg, Alaska, and is within walking distance of all the town's attractions. The house is just 1 mile away from the airport. As you enter through the front porch, you'll find the living room, dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom with a queen-sized bed, and a full bathroom. This cozy little cabin has modern amenities and is nestled amongst the trees on the coast of POW in Coffman Cove, Alaska. The cabin offers waterfront views of the Clarence Straits, whale watching, orcas, deer and Bald Eagles. The summer days are long and beautiful. It might take you a couple nights to get used to the peacefulness of Alaska. Sometimes the whales or Bald Eagles will wake you as they pass by. Wifi access, dishwasher, washer, dryer, microwave and coffee maker are all included.

Helse Vacation Rental

My place is one block from the library, three blocks from down town and five blocks from the schools and community gym/pool. Harbors are only four blocks away and scenic Hammer's Slough is across the street. This house is brand new September 2016. In addition to the other amenities, we have a freezer for our guests who have come to town for their dream fishing trip. There is also a picnic table on the deck. We have a barbeque on the deck as well. You'll have to buy your own briquettes.

Walk right across the street to stroll around Petersburg's impressive commercial fishing harbor and just a few blocks to down town. This updated house comes stocked with all the amenities you could want to make your stay. Hot tub, Oled TV, Modern kitchen appliances, WiFi, home office, work out area, large yard, large deck, bbq, etc. Wake up and have your coffee looking out at magnificent Devil's Thumb and mountain range. Send a request for additional dates, shorter, longer stays, etc.

The Eagle View

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Watch whales, porpoises, eagles, deer and other wildlife through the wall of windows looking out onto the Clarence Strait. Spend some time in the tide pools looking for sea creatures at low tide. A truly serene place. Four beds can be converted to two king beds. Go fishing at many creeks, rivers, or lakes or take a charter from the Coffman Cove marina to fish for King salmon, halibut, ling cod, rock fish, and shrimp.

588 sf apartment only a couple blocks from the South Harbor and a 1/2 mile from downtown. Great quiet neighborhood with views of the mountains. The apartment has everything you need, including a washer a dryer. Kitchen is well stocked with appliances and utensils. There isn’t much furniture aside from the basics, and no tv. This is an excellent place if you plan to be out during the day and want somewhere comfortable to cook and sleep.

The Coho Cottage — a cozy cottage by the sea.

This little cottage has a great view of the Wrangell Narrows and the mouth of Petersburg Creek. Watch boats, whales, fish and much more right out the window. Located by the ferry terminal and a 15 minute walk to downtown. There is a bike/walking path along the Wrangell Narrows right outside the front door. Truly a wonderful place to view the scenery that Petersburg has to offer. Message me if you have any questions.

This hotel style unit is located in a 100+ year old building. It was once a cannery then converted into short term lodging. The unit is older but clean and safe. It includes a Full size size bed, small fridge, microwave, coffee pot and dishes in unit as well as a smart tv and wifi. If you are looking for the Ritz this place is not for you. Kevin’s lodge is beautiful and peaceful. The bed was really comfortable and he provided an exquisite crab dinner and breakfast. He shuttled us to and from the airport and even took us to town to grab lunch for the plane ride before takeoff. His place has a freezer to store fish and has boxes available to purchase.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Harbor Heights. The place was clean, affordable, and had a calming atmosphere. Joy was attentive and incredibly helpful; it was a pleasure working with her. As a solo traveler, I was initially unsure about sharing a space with strangers, but the keypad locks on the front and bedroom doors, along with the locking bathrooms, made me feel safe and comfortable. I really appreciated all the amenities available—though I didn’t use all 57! Not having to pack shampoo, conditioner, soap, or a hairdryer was a huge relief. One of my favorite things about staying there was having a kitchen that allowed me to ease into my day without rushing to town for coffee and breakfast. I’d love to stay here again—perhaps when the weather is warmer so I can enjoy the deck! I’ll definitely recommend Harbor Heights to others. Thank you!

We loved staying at Erin's place in Petersburg. It was very welcoming and reflective of the Norwegian culture of the community. Erin quickly responded to our questions and provided for our needs. We would definitely wish to stay there again should we return to Petersburg.

Our stay at the Chinook guest room was great! The room was quiet despite being connected to a main residence. It was well stocked with anything you'd need for a trip from toiletries, to a mini fridge and silverware. The host, Molly, was very quick to respond to any messages sent. We were in a pinch and needed an iron, and one was delivered to our door within 10 minutes! The location was great, very close to town for a short walk or quick drive. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting Petersburg.

Debbie is very friendly, has good stories about her upbringing in Alaska, and provides delicious and varied breakfast meals. She is a wonderful host.
