House vacation rentals in Mission District, San Francisco

Very homey and welcoming. Family enjoyed celebrating time together in all spaces of the house, especially the back patio where our young child made believe on the well-designed pirate ship. Friendly, kind host. We walked to adorable Rockridge and BART many times. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing stay at Casita Casita, the kids had so much fun in the pool and the kitchen was beautiful. On the last day, my six year old didn’t want to leave, she said she wished we could live there forever. It was super clean and when I did have a question, Courtney replied almost immediately. She was super great to work with, she sent us the house guide before our arrival and it included food recommendations. There was also a book printed guide which we actually referenced a lot! So that was helpful. The location is EXTREMELY walkable, we had fun walking to local shops and restaurants and the local park and bocci ball court.

A group of lifelong friends and I meet once a year for a long weekend to catch up, decompress, and spend time together. We chose San Francisco this year and after hunting on AirBnB we stumbled across this estate on JAR Farms. The host Nikki was proactive, helpful, and responsive. We arrived on Wednesday and drove to thru the gate into a lush oasis. The pictures on the listing didn't do the property justice. We arrived at the guest house to a welcome gift of wine, local honey, and snacks. We were a group of 6 adults and the guest house was cozy yet a perfect size for a reunion of friends. We were given a tour of the property showing us the boat house/beach, grand staircase to the bay overlook, the pool house (pool and hot tub), gardens, bee hives, and the many trails on the property. The mornings we hiked Monahan Trail at the adjacent Old St. Hillary's Preserve. In the afternoons we enjoyed the hot tub and a nice bbq dinner. Perfect weekend! HIGHLY recomended. Will be returning!

Had an excellent stay with our family. Will is one of the best airbnb hosts we have ever had and would stay again at this home or any other home he hosts without hesitation. The cactus home is luxurious and has amazing amenities like heated bathroom floors, great outdoor space with pool and hot tub, and a well equipped kitchen.

We enjoyed our stay so much. The deck and view were so beautiful. The home was spacious, clean and well stocked. The location was perfect for the places we wanted to visit and the neighborhood was quiet. We already want to go back!

Fabulous trip! We were greeted warmly by Jana and settled easily into the spaces of this large character home on a quiet cul de sac. It worked perfectly for our group of four. We loved the peaceful feeling of being on the water and the nearby pathways along the bay; it's lovely to sit outside to read and sip something. We didn't use the kitchen much, but it is very well-equipped. We got in some great hikes and meals at Mt. Tam, San Rafael, San Anselmo, Fairfax and Pt. Reyes as well as a SFMOMA day in the city. A wonderful location! Don't hesitate.

Nelson was super responsive and helpful, the space is beautiful, all the amenities were great, and my friends and I had the best time for my birthday weekend!

Great location. Tons of restaurants. Easy walk to the BART. Great view from the deck. Beds were comfortable A lot of nice extras in the kitchen (eg olive oil spices etc) I’d stay there again for sure

Anna was a very responsive and accommodating host and she let us park in her driveway. The apartment was quiet and comfortable. The neighborhood felt safe with public transportation and restaurants close by. Pineapple King Bakery had the most delicious pineapple buns we’ve ever eaten and it’s within walking distance.

I’d recommend an upgrade to the WiFi, but short of that … the property was perfect and I wouldn’t hesitate to book it again.

Staying here was so nice and easy. Host made check in secure and easy which is not always the case. Very nice space and extremely clean. Great location for us. Walkable coffee/food locations and not a lot of through traffic. Private outdoor patio was nice to enjoy as well to get some fresh air during our stay and not be inside all the time. Thank you! This was a perfect base camp for us for our two day stay in the Bay Area as we celebrated/attended our daughter’s graduation from USF. The home looked as pictured and was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The neighborhood was so cute and we loved keeping the windows open and just feeling the night breeze and felt perfectly safe to do so. The neighborhood was walkable and we found some great wats in the area too.

Fantastic place that is a short drive from Golden Gate Park! Peaceful and safe location with plenty of safe parking. Home was spotlessly clean. Ilya was a great communicator!

Maria's little apartment is perfect for a solo or couple's trip to San Francisco. the proximity to Golden Gate Park and several great neighborhoods is awesome. The apartment is cozy and clean and on a lovely quiet street. I especially appreciated the little additions Maria has - plenty of tea and coffee, soaps and lotion in the bathroom, a heated shower (as in heat in addition to hot water, made it extra cozy). There was complete privacy but Maria was also very responsive. I stayed for a week and felt right at home. Thanks Maria!

We really enjoyed our stay (2 adults). The home was exactly as described, cozy and clean. Leticia and her family are great hosts. We didn’t rent a car, it was a marathon weekend & decided against it. Lots of ride shares available. Area is walkable just consider those San Fran hills! Bed & linens were comfy, the pull out in the living room is good for a young person. We felt safe walking around, area is easy to navigate. Short walk to Golden Gate park & the museums inside was a plus. Thanks again for a fun stay!

I felt truly happy in Tereza and Mauricio's spacious, immaculate, well-thought-out studio. It wasn't just the physical space that gave me a sense of peace, but the warmth and caring my hosts exuded in every note we exchanged before and during my four night stay. Russell’s place is magical! Incredibly well equipped (in fact the most well equipped one I’ve stayed in ever), great views over Dolores Park, clean and safe. There are very few places of such a high standard - this is highly recommended. Russell was responsive, kind and helpful with package deliveries, and offered lots of suggestions for the area. Top host.

Such a lovely stay! Beautiful home with great views in Castro neighborhood in SF. Alex was super responsive and friendly. I highly recommend this stay.

Whitney and Dan’s Mish Mish was a perfect landing spot for us and our first big road trip with our toddler. They had all the little things you need for littles, while plenty of nice plus ups around the space for adults, like plenty of caffeine in the form of nespressos. Don’t sleep on Whitney’s reccos either! Great people, great space, and particularly nice if you have a little in toe. Also: another plus is that they have great taste in books around the place that might pique your curiosity.

A nice place to stay, good location, large new bathroom and a very comfortable high quality bed. Only watch out is the check-in time is quite late (though clear in the listing).

We love Carly’s Airbnb as repeat guests and will be back again!
