Vacation rentals with beach access in Mission Beach, San Diego

This was just what we needed for our stay! Easy walk to the bay, and to surrounding restaurants. Quinn gave very clear instructions on where everything was.

All we have to say is that we are definitely coming back to this Airbnb! Such a wonderful place and atmosphere and close to the beach plus we got to ride bikes!!! This cute little apartment was in a great location, with the beach a few steps away and great local restaurants and bars within walking distance. The apartment itself was very clean. I love that it had a designated parking spot😊👍

Simon was a great host and provided more amenities than we thought! The decorations made the place feel warm and inviting. The walk to the beach was literally only a few minutes and we were able to walk to some restaurants and markets down the street easily. Overall I would highly recommend this place!

Loved staying here! Perfect location, right next to the beach and places to eat. The Funky Lemon right next door has great coffee, food, and pastries. We took the bikes out to ride on the ocean front walk and grab breakfast. The provided parking was perfect since parking in the area is limited! Plenty of towels and toiletries. Patty is a great host and her place is awesome!

This place was an absolute gem. Waking up to the sound of the waves and being able to walk everywhere made our stay so relaxing. It's the kind of spot where the beach feels like your backyard and adventure is always just around the corner. Falling asleep to the ocean breeze was pure magic. All in all, a fantastic escape — we’d recommend it in a heartbeat.

We had a lovely stay at Rob’s. The location is impossible to beat with amazing restaurants, bars and coffee shops all in walking distance. The space is small as it is a studio but it was perfect for a long weekend with myself and my husband. Communication was extremely fast and everything was smooth as can be with our hosts!

We really enjoyed are time at the beach house. It was a great location and very close to every where we wanted to go. It is absolutely a beautiful place to stay with family.

Everything matched the description. I will definitely revisit again when I’m back. The best part I slept like a baby, best sleep I ever had in years, listening to the ocean waves at night if you have the window open.

Such a beautiful place, very well taken care of. Absolutely perfect for my family including my baby, two toddlers and two dogs. Adam was a great host and very responsive with recommendations. This Airbnb has everything that you could possibly need and while it is a studio, it's actually roomy. There's a large, very comfortable king-size bed, but it doesn't feel like it takes up a lot of space. The couch is a pull-out bed as well, and it’s long enough to for somebody that's 5'6” or smaller to be able to sleep on it. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need including ice cube trays and a light underneath the microwave. So, it feels homey. There's a bar that has five chairs facing the strandway where you can see the glimpses of the ocean. There are plenty of plugs for gadgets. There's a closet that has all kinds of linens. Anything you could possibly need from extra blankets to extra pillows, extra towels. In the kids' room, there are bunk beds that are large enough for an adult to sleep on the bottom (5’6” or shorter). The bathroom is has nice lighting and a window that opens up the street. The patio outside has plenty of space for two to three people to sit.

We loved the place and the owners. They definitely go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable! 100% would stay here again

We were two families with a 15-month old and a 6-month old kid. We loved how the space was super baby-friendly. Safety gates, toddler tables/chairs, crib, etc. Very clean. The property is just a few steps away from the beach. Good restaurants within walking distance. Sea World 3 miles away. Jarrod and Maria provided everything we needed and more. They are also very responsive to questions. We highly recommend this property to anyone staying in San Diego!

We had a wonderful time at Harry’s place. Tons to do within driving distance. Location fantastic - literally bike rentals on the corner and a few seconds from the house you’re on the promenade biking in either direction. We loved the house and overall amazing family vacation.

We had a great stay! The home was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to feel at home. The enclosed yard was a nice bonus for our pup, and the location was perfect and to all our favorite spots.

The location is incredible — you truly can’t beat the proximity to the beach, dog beach, and a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops all within walking distance. The unit itself was the perfect space for a quick weekend getaway and had all the amenities we needed. We didn’t use the community space or hot tub, but they looked clean and well-maintained. One heads-up: if you're parking a mid-size or larger vehicle in the garage, be prepared for a very tight fit. The garage is located around the corner in an alley, and some cars turn in blindly, which could be a bit risky — so just use extra caution. Overall, it was an amazing stay and we’d definitely book again!

This was our second stay at this apartment, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. We love being so close to the beach and within easy walking distance of Ocean Beach. For week-long visits, having a well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to cook a few meals at home. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and having access to a washer and dryer is a huge plus. We will stay here again on our next trip to San Diego.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Carl's property in the Pacific/Mission Beach area, and it was an absolute delight! This charming rental is perfectly situated near an array of coffee shops and restaurants, making it an ideal spot for foodies and coffee lovers alike. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated, exuding a warm and inviting atmosphere. It felt like a true home away from home, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail in the decor and furnishings really made a difference. One of the highlights of our visit was the convenience of having so many delightful eateries just a short walk away. Whether we were in the mood for a quick coffee fix or a nice dinner, there were plenty of options right at our doorstep.

This place was perfect for our family of four. The kids loved the pull out couch and was quiet comfortable. The condo is in such a great area minutes away from the beach a short drive to sea world and the zoo. It was so convenient with a toddler. Ashwini was a great host, communication was great! We definitely will be back !

We had an amazing stay at Nicklas’s place in San Diego! The condo is beautifully renovated and right on the waterfront—waking up to those ocean views was such a treat. The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with everything we needed, making our stay super comfortable and convenient. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into making the space feel like a true home away from home. We would absolutely love to stay here again in the future. Highly recommend!
