This Earthen house is made of sand, straw and clay. Nestled in a valley it is a peaceful and unique getaway. The cabin has four comfortable single beds and electricity, a wood stove for winter. Outside a fire pit and grill. A hand washing sink inside; and port-o-let toilet outside. You may be able to drive in (weather/road condition depending). My two best friends and I stayed at the fabulous Refugio Graziella for a relaxing girls’ weekend and it. was. perfect. Most of the weekend was spent lounging and chatting in all the many wonderful spaces the home offers: sipping coffee on the peaceful screened-in porch, relaxing in the hot tub, roasting marshmallows at the serene fire pit under the string lights with ample firewood and supplies, doing crafts and playing games at the inviting dining room table, cooking meals in the fully equipped kitchen, and listening to music in the cozy living room. We did not end up using the sauna (just didn’t have time), but are already planning a winter getaway to RG. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it if you are looking for a quiet getaway, surrounded by nature but still a short drive away from anything you need or want. Clearly, so much thought was put into anticipating the needs of their guests, and that makes Refugio Graziella a place you immediately feel comfortable. 🥰

A wonderful stay, we’ve already recommended to 4 other families that could benefit from it on their yearly travels! We needed a safe spot to stay with our boat while driving from IN to MN. We also had our 2 year old and a dog, they were SO ACCOMMODATING! The place was spotless, they had a welcome bag for our son & pup, and they had everything we needed. It’s truly a beautiful home , with a welcoming outdoor area for day and night. Super quick response from our hosts. Easy check in and out. Highly recommend to anyone ! We’d love to stay again if we’re ever traveling back through the area. Thanks again for opening up your beautiful family home to us! One of my favorite places to rent out so far ♥️
