Words do not describe the location. Take a few days, relax, eat at the Landing Steakhouse. Water wheel or Milford Diner for breakfast. Stop by Fox N Hare Brewery/ Pub. Then after all that sit on the deck watch the local wildlife sip your beverage of choice and take in the serenity of the stream and waterfall.

Juan and Jason were super accommodating with providing items for our dogs and babies. Only downside was the river was a literal hike (need a walking stick). otherwise a great property and super accommodating host!

This was our second time staying at the Clearing Farm Cabin, which has become a favorite place for my wife, our dog, and me to get away for a long weekend. Where to start? Booking and communication throughout the reservation was excellent. Jenna is friendly, responsive, and there was usually someone working close by (but not too close) during the day in case we needed anything (which we didn't). The drive there took us on scenic roads that wind through the Catskills, preparing us for a quiet and relaxing vacation. The house is cute as a button, well-appointed, dog-friendly, and sits on an acre or so that is completely fenced in and private (four challenging features to find in the same property on airbnb). It's heaven on earth for our dog! The location in Glen Spey is close to Port Jervis and Middletown which have quaint downtown areas and several trails for hiking (I recommend the Mongaup River Trail which is a short drive from the house to the trailhead). We can't wait to go back!

Great place overall! Perfect for a couples getaway and solo getaways as well. Peter was really accommodating with our fire providing us with extra wood to have a pleasant evening watching the fire. Along with great recommendations and things to do. Hot tub was very clean and easy to use. Definitely coming back here again. Highly recommend the River Rail Cottage!
