A perfect base for a countryside/city break. It is a cosy, compact, upgraded 2nd floor flat - bright & airy, with picturesque views of the countryside. I provide basic groceries for a self-service breakfast - an Aldis store is 1min away, & b'fasting cafe 2mins. By car or bus, you are nearby all the attractions the Scottish Borders are so famous for. Day trip to Edin? Running well, first trains to Edinburgh start before 7am, and last return just before midnight - perfect base for Edin Festival.

The Nest is a charming fully equipped cottage in the heart of the picturesque town of Melrose. The town is home to the Melrose Rugby Sevens & the Borders Book Festival & boasts many restaurants, cafes & independent shops. St. Cuthbert’s Way, Melrose Abbey & the Eildon Hills are a short walk away. The open plan lounge/kitchen is well-equipped while the ensuite bedroom is cosy with a bright bathroom with bath/shower. We greatly enjoyed our stay in June's apartment. It was beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped. We enjoyed the town and in particular Jedburgh Abbey. We took the circular walk from the Alltrails App. Beautiful scenery and views.

A little gem in the heart of Melrose. Walking distance to everything you'll need; supermarket, pubs, chip shop!! It is a small cosy flat which heats nicely when the heating is on. The toiletries provided smelt gorgeous. Linda responded quickly to any texts and was flexible about check-in and check-out - just guessing it was because there was no-one in before, or after, us. The flat has everything we needed, and the welcome gifts were much appreciated. We were out and about most days so only used the flat for eating and sleeping, and it was a comfy bed even if a bit on the low side. Would stay here again.

What a find, we stayed for 3 nights, absolutely loved studio at no.1, everything about it.. spotlessly clean, well thought out, the outside area, the kitchen is brilliant! The location is perfect, 5 mins to Melrose centre, had a couple of really good meals at Burts Hotel, the monkfish samosa starter was delicious, and The Kings Arms.. both were lovely. Would definitely stay here again, so many golf courses to choose from too 😊
