Lovely hosts who kindly arranged an early check in at very short notice. The house is really spacious, with great quality appliances and comfy beds. Very good value for money.
A well-lit kitchen features a wooden countertop that curves around the corner. A modern toaster and kettle are placed on the counter, accompanied by plants and a vase with yellow flowers. A large window offers views of the surrounding countryside.

Prudhoe Cottage -17th Century-5 bedrooms-Sleeps 10

Wonderful hosts, super helpful and friendly, they even decorated for us as we were celebrating a birthday! The house has absolutely everything you could need and plenty of it (loads of towels, spare toiletries, cleaning supplies, loo roll and kitchenware which is sometimes lacking in holiday homes!) The garden was perfect for our dogs and the house was super clean even though it's dog friendly. Great location. Wish I could give more than 5 stars! Thank you for such a lovely weekend :)
A cast iron sign with the text 'MIND YOUR HEAD' is mounted on a wooden surface. The sign is situated at a low height, suggesting an area where caution is advised. The surrounding wood shows a natural finish, indicating an older, rustic space.

The Cottage

Perfect stay...I needed a peaceful, comfortable environment to attend to family business and was very busy. It was a delight to stay and a relief to come back to a clean, welcoming space each day. The bed was super comfortable and the house cosy yet airy. Rosie is a brilliant host and had loads of local knowledge. The Feathers gastro pub opposite serves a limited locally sourced menu cooked beautifully and an extensive wine list. Open Thurs-Sun. Not far is Corbridge with other places to eat and drink, so very well served. I did a couple of lovely evening runs so imagine very easy for long hikes. Much to recommend and will definitely stay again.
