The Rowan Suite is self-contained within my house, giving you quiet, private accommodation . It is an ensuite double bedroom with king size bed plus your own unique lounge, overlooking garden and woodland. There is car parking and bike storage and is only a short walk from Stocksfield rail station and bus routes. Great base for trips to Hadrian’s Wall, historic properties, Northumberland National Park and the nearby towns of Corbridge and Hexham. A hamper of breakfast goodies is provided.

Forge Cottage

We have recently updated this cottage ---- with a new kitchen with a proper hob and oven, and also replaced all the windows and even the front door ! The Forge cottage is set on our working sheep farm, on the Durham Northumberland border. Ideal for couples, or people traveling on their own, the cottage is a great location for local attractions such as Beamish Museum, Durham, Newcastle, Kilhope lead mining museum etc., but it's also great for those looking for peace and quiet and country walks !!

Newly refurbished to a high standard, this beautifully presented first floor flat is the perfect bolthole from which to explore Northumberland. Completely self-contained with its own private entrance, it has a courtyard with outdoor seating and parking for one car. An excellent base from which to visit Hadrian's Wall, Alnwick and Bamburgh Castles, picturesque Hexham and Corbridge and the vibrant city of Newcastle upon Tyne. Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar.
