We had the most relaxing weekend. It was a group of 4 mums and it was a beautiful stay. We felt so at home and everything was provided. The fire was lit and Julie greeted us at the door and welcomed us in. They also stoked up our fire wood and set up the fire for us the second day aswell once we arrived back from the pools. It was so wonderful. Highly recommend!

Close to Methven town and close Mt Hutt ski resort. You’ll be close to everything at this centrally located place. A fully self contained 2 Bedroom apartment. We are not part of the resort but you can use the outdoor spa, tennis court, kids play area, bbq area, complimentary parking and a restaurant (when open). The laundry is in the common area with the attached studio. Please don’t do washing/dryer late at night. You can store your skiis in laundry room. All questions message in Airbnb app.

Great hosts and very central location. Would recommend and stay here again.

Rimu Chalet

Adena’s flat is in a great location, walking distance to town. Super cosy, with a bed so comfy that we photographed the mattress labels so we can get one for home! The flat was very clean and tidy with everything we needed. A bonus to have 2 tvs! Will definitely stay again.

The old shearer’s quarters

We have never stayed somewhere as incredible. We were nervous being on someone’s property but Steve is absolutely amazing. Super kind and left us to our own devices after checking in. The fireplace was absolutely worth every penny. The bed was beyond cozy (especially with the heated blanket). The luxury features really elevated the space. The bathroom floor is heated along with a heated towel rail. The shower and bath are even more stunning in person and the vibe in the backyard is phenomenal. He even has a parking space right up to your gate so parking is super simple. We will most definitely be back here! This is where we will aim to stay anytime we visit in ski season seeing as Methven is only a 30ish minute drive (a stunning drive at that). The lights also, so fancy and smooth. No glaring lights early in the morning. It allows for a nice slow start to the morning. And the back veranda also has an awning which meant that we could chill back there without the morning sun! Thankyou

We loved our stay in Methven! Sarahs place was perfect for what we were after after our days up the mountain skiing. Super comfortable with amazing sunsets every night, close to town for everything we needed. I highly recommend.

The chalet was super clean and felt comfortable and private. Michelle was an excellent host and very responsive. We had everything that we needed. Beautiful views outside. I enjoyed a walk around the property and access road. Extremely peaceful, just what we needed. We had the place to ourselves. Could see that it would make an amazing winter stay for skiing nearby or an excellent place for a special event. Thanks again!

The Opuke crash pad was excellent for our purpose for visiting Methven (a visit to the pools). The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has all required appliances, and the shower is very good, and overall we enjoyed out stay.

Perfect wee place for hubby, daughter and I. Amazing view of the snowy mountains from the dining table, with a small playground & shared BBQ straight outside the sliding door. Although it was freezing when we arrived and took a while to heat up, there were heaters in all of the rooms, as well as the bathroom. There is a spa bath which we loved as we didn't get to the spa as it was always full. Super close to the main Pubs & Ōpuke so we were able to easily walk. Free parking, easy access without having to worry about a key as it was a key coded lock. We will definitely stay again if it's available.

Selwyns place was lovely and clean. Towels on the bed ready for use and the nice touch of a little crunchie choc bar each ! Had a lovely stay and would stay here again!!
