We had a lovely stay at Sylvain's, everything was impeccable and as described in the listing. In addition, the lake is accessible in 2 minutes on foot and there are also several trails in the woods for walking. 🙂 If I were to return to the area, I would not hesitate to contact Sylvain again.

Beautiful, comfortable and private cottage. Nature and the river offer beautiful views and the interior layout of the cottage offers spaces conducive to relaxation and contemplation. In short, a real little paradise to get away from everyday life! Not to mention that Valerie and Dustin are caring and warm hosts.

A dream house or chalet... It can't be described, it has to be experienced...

This is an ideal place for a quiet getaway. Everything is exactly as advertised and the property is beautiful and private - tall cedar hedges on both sides guarantee privacy. There are no stores or restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but there are major grocery stores and pharmacies a short drive away - everything you could possibly need. The home itself is immaculate and well equipped, and the host is friendly, proactive (we were late arriving and he called us, concerned that we might be lost), and easy to reach. This was possibly my very best Airbnb experience. Great value for a quiet private escape from the city. Looking forward to returning for a longer stay.

Beautiful cottage, in a beautiful location. With all the snow it was magical. In summer this place must be amazing with the cottage overlooking the lake. Close to the Parc du Mont Valin which is convenient for lots of activities in winter (skiing, snowshoeing etc.). Clean cottage is quite spacious. Good experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at this peaceful apartment which has a beautiful terrace. More spacious accommodation than we thought, fully equipped and very pleasant to stay in. Responsive, welcoming, and available host as needed. Slightly off-center from the various places that interested us but the sunsets from the terrace were worth it. In short, we would highly recommend!

When you open the door, the view is stunning! This spacious apartment is well laid out, with two large bedrooms with extremely clean and comfortable beds, among the best of our Airbnb stays. The kitchen, practical and friendly, offers a large counter and comfortable stools. The EQ3 sofa is lovely. Outside, quality wooden chairs and tables allow you to enjoy the beautiful Saguenay River. Located just a stone's throw from the Rivière-du-Moulin park, the port of Chicoutimi and the multifunctional trail of the old bridge, this place was perfect for nature lovers and beautiful apartments like us.

This was our first family experience, my sister and I, with our 1 and 2 year old daughters. The place was very well equipped, quiet, super clean, with a huge common living room/kitchen space so that 4 adults and 2 young children don't step on each other's toes;) Karl responded quickly to our questions. Wonderful experience, all around!

Excellent stay, the accommodation has everything you need. The setting by the lake is magical, the HOT TUB is very nice. We took advantage of the weekend to fish and we caught 8 big pike, it will remain an exceptional memory for our family!

Francois' place is absolutely fantastic! Right by the lake, you can find a very calm and private escape. The chalet was spotless, and Francois was incredibly responsive and gracious throughout our stay. Our visit was brief, but we truly enjoyed it and would highly recommend this place!

An extra host, unheard of, thank you Stéphane! I would just say that the place is not the most suitable for young children in relation to access to the lake, but you are able to offer all kinds of surprises to interest the youngest, special mention to your son Eliot for the hiking/trout outing, the kids will keep a great souvenir.

We had a great time in Avignon! The location was perfect for access to mountain bike trails and Monts Valins Park. The cottage also lived up to our expectations and we will go back without hesitation.
